    And a couple of thoughts
Bridge looks far more composed than Reece under pressure
Ennor May lack advantage line go- To Ability at centre .
    Goodhue has that

I really don't understand how Jean-Luc du Preez has not played more tests for the Boks. The guy is an absolute beast, especially on defence. Reminds me of Kaino.

Dunshea not good enough at this level. Romano should have either started or been brought on much earlier. He revels in the tight stuff playing against the South Africans. Better in the scrum too.

Dunshea is an undersized lock at club level, against a big African forward pack he’s never going to provide any impact. Hopefully the blues sign him next year.

Bitch fluffybunny can fuck off to the highlanders. Absolutely terrible game.

We (almost) lost that game because of our coaching teams ego, Robertson has never rated Romano and needs to get over that and pick him ahead of both Dunshea and Strange.

Too much blaming the ref on this forum as usual... sharks deserved to win.

Ok. Am only up to half time in my viewing of the replay. Am tired and will watch the rest in the morning.

But christ Pickerell is a fucking awful referee. He's the anti-Jackson. Looking for every excuse to rule against the home team.

    Fuck.

Sharks scrambling and not particularly impressive in the first half but riding the back of a few favourable decisions ahead by 2.

Hopefully the Evil Empire found a way to get home from here.

Taylor Moody Read good in the first 40.

I would've thought I'm too old to be laughing at this, but apparently I'm not.

Yep. Matched only in sheer awfulness by the Crusaders constant knock-ons, stupid penalties and general ineptitude.

That game can basically be summed up as Bosch drilling penalties, before the Crusaders hammered away at the line, turning the screw, until the last gasp try was the final nail in the Sharks hopes of victory.

In other news, I'm hearing Hansen has given Goodhue an ultimatum: get a haircut or face missing out on the RWC.

NB: I don't like to knock a guy who no doubt gives his all, but Dunshea was really a passenger out there.

Also, I really don't think the Crusaders need to keep Jager on their books. It's a heartwarming story and all, but I'm not even sure he'd get a senior club contract for Leinster.

And finally, metal and other objects have been seen sticking to Joe Moody. He certainly has been a penalty magnet in recent weeks.

One thing I did like that Pickerell did, were 2 'attempted' turn overs where player got in a strong position over the ball but wasnt actually trying to get it, he waved away the calls for a penalty.

@Chris really good point. Nothing puts a team under pressure more than short exit plays.

The Goodhue - Ennor midfield experiment was over as soon as Jordan had to leave the field so Goodhue played most of the game in his favorite position and Ennor on the left wing. Hard to make ourselves an opinion about this combination. Jordan looked sharp and incisive before his injury.

@cgrant Things improved when they moved Bridge to fullback. I don't think Jordan had that much impact at all tbh.

Not many times you see a Crusaders pack rag dolled like that. That’s how the Boks will play the ABs.

Yeah - and it's a bit concerning. Boks could easily have beaten us twice last year - would have but for subbing off Cronje and Le Roux in Pretoria.

I think Hansen needs to think a bit about where and how he adds a bit more physicality to our team.

Kaino's departure is a big loss in this regard and I'm not sure 2019 Kieran Read is going to bring quite the same power that the 2015 version did - and those are important power positions. Nonu and Big Jules had some power in the backs that we haven't fully replaced either.
