Reckon he played his best football in his storm years , he was leaner , faster , and injury free ,
Great player and nice guy , who was always up for a chat with anyone .
And who wouldn’t when you’re on a big contract plus getting a little on the side in a brown paper bag

Kata has a corked thigh and Kearney anticipates he will be available this week though. He could have "rested" him. Like a soft unofficial dropping. But no.
And that right there is why this team is doomed. You can see the issues with his defense & his white line fever. But still, Kearney continues to select him when Beale is a more capable defender and will feed our wingers.
Kearney is killing us by continually picking what is essentially a liability on offense as well as defense that gasses out at the 60min mark every game. So yeah, I can't see us winning many with Kearney controlling this team going forward.
-
Kearney sticks with the same line up although Green will probably miss the Saturday night game against the Cowboys. Kata remains sadly and it is time a journalist asks the question to Kearney: "What do you see in Kata that fans, pundits, analysts, the entire masses, do not?"

there is now a petition to have kata dropped..
I don't go in for shit like that but obviously others do.
Translation: I've signed the petition with both my work and personal email.

The warriors without RTS are basically the Bulldogs
-
Warriors vs Cowboys is on TV at the pub. What a skill less exhibition. Can't catch, can't pass and can't tackle without giving up ground.
-
Jeez the Warriors are shit.
Plenty of ball in the attacking 20 but couldn’t do a thing with it except one out half arsed runs or shovelling it across the field with shitty loopy passes that went behind the man.
Warriors still get the shit end of deal when it comes to the refs too.
-
Neither the Warriors or the Cowboys are making the playoffs. Two average teams.
- Warriors need to either use that cap space they have to sign a halfback or Kearney needs to get creative and change the team's current playing strategy.
- But Kearney is struggling with his game plan this season. Luke was playing great in the first 25 minutes, then gets subbed for Tevaga, despite Roache being on the bench, and isn't brought back on the field until five minutes from fulltime. WTF? Teams have also figured out how to defend set plays (which is why teams running from dummyhalf are winning this season) yet Kearney sticks with it.
- Chanel Harris-Tevita leading the team around the park is a worry, especially because he isn't a strong kicker. Doesn't help that Peta Hiku was no where to be seen. Would have been better off with Luke at halfback.
- Adam Blair is struggling this season. After a strong 2018 season he's now forgetting how to tackle, how to catch a ball, how to actually play the game.
- Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is in fine form again this season and it's a shame it's being wasted on a mediocre team. His kicking game is improving each week, no doubt he will move into the halves in the next 3-4 seasons (with Hayze Perham at fullback).
- I'm sure that person in the creepy Bunny costume at halftime was drunk.

lets talk coaches in the gun, because the NRL loves a coach sacking
Nathan Brown was given an awful lot of leeway when their roster was a disaster. Players were bought, and they are as bad as ever. Might be first out the door.
Ivan Cleary would be in the gun if Penrith could afford to sack him. What a fucking disaster of an appointment that is looking, especially with how much they are paying him. The team looks well short of where Griffen had them.
Seibold has probably this season and the next, as there is no way the Broncos Board is going to want to admit they made a mistake. He's got a hell of a job in front of him, as their spine is worse than the Warriors (at least we have a fullback)
If the Cowboys continue to stink the joint out with what should be a pretty decent side, Green will be in trouble. Especially as the Origin period will gut them.
Imagine the pressure on Kearney if we didn't just extend his contract.
Obviously the Dogs absolutely suck, but what could anyone else do with that roster?
I vote Brown for fist out, because Origin will take out their two best players, and they will be proper fucked then.
-
wait, shit! First casualty is Phil Gould, whose 5 year plan hasn't resulted in tangible on-field success in 8 years. Has fired some people though. And then re-hired them.
-
And fucking Kata is fucking still fucking there!!! I nearly threw a stubbie at my TV when, after a big break by the Warriors, he ran from dummy-half, took contact, and killed the play dead. Why. Won't. He. Go. Away!!!
Adam Blair can fuck off. And he can take Jazz Tevaga with him.
The Storm are not in great form, but they should still murder us.

@mariner4life crazy how many coaches are on a knife edge. Is it a reflection on the current stable of talent, or all about coaching quality? It does feel like we've got a lot more young and raw talent knocking about, and some massive talents have retired over the last few years.
Would be interesting to see some kind of analysis of player ratings versus contract $ to see if guys are earning more now, whereas a few years back they might not have quite as much earning potential. Thinking about that broadly as opposed to just the marque positions that always demand massive $$ if you've got the goods.
NRL, never a dull moment!!!
