    @Stargazer

    Mr Carter is just a short trip away, no worries.

    @gt12 In that case, there's a pool of reserves in several positions in Japan.

    the improvement in Nanai to the player we all thought he could be is one of the most damning indictment on the former Blues coaching team

    Havili, Nanai and Jordan have also been much stronger than Bridge and Naholo (so far).

    @KiwiMurph But unlike Naholo, Bridge hasn't been playing badly either. He's not making mistakes, but has just not had many scoring opportunities. The ball is simply not going his way.

    Anyone else wonders why Tahuriorangi has been picked again? Doesn't start for the Chiefs, doesn't shine when on the field. Bryn Hall on the other hand has been really good.

    They are clearly favouring players picked last year over form for these foundation camps. Explains Jordie, Tahuriorangi, Coltman etc.

    Imagine Tahuriorangi behind the pack Hall gets to play with.

    Stoked to see Sam Cane. It suggests his recovery is going okay.

    @antipodean That excuse is over-used. Aaron Smith and TJP aren't playing behind that pack either.

    Cane has been cleared for contact and already undergone light contact according to Colin Cooper.

    They're number one and two for the All Blacks with vastly more experience.
