Jono Hickey
maybe they're going to play some cricket, too?
-
@Machpants Don't forget Beaudy and Marshall still have to come back in. Jono will be on a two week contract i'd say.
-
@Canes4life Hickey is a halfback.

Just to highlight this:
31 Jono Hickey
What. the. heck?
This feels like Agent Carlos taking the Canes down from the inside ala Agent Tana at the Blues......
-
I've posted the Crusaders squad in the Crusaders 2019 thread.
-
@Stargazer Oh shit I was thinking of his bro. F%ck we are screwed if he ends up starting.
-
I would have thought missing the first week as part of your two weeks stand down is defeating the whole purpose of the stand down?

Who is Callum Harkin ?
No idea but history tells us he must be a Wellington club player

Taking the piss a bit, but I think he won't be the only AB claiming the first week despite not even being at training until just before the start of the season and unlikely to start anyway.

@Stargazer Ben Nicholas is more of an option at 8, whereas Prinsep would probably slot in at 6 you would think? In Ben Nicholas and Flanders there are two genuine future no 8 options for the Canes. Though young, I would rather see Flanders get more time there to develop - he looks very classy and could also be captain material down the track.
-
@Canes4life I think you're missing my point of a player being in the official Canes squad, or not.
-
@Stargazer Didn't that rule change a few years ago? I'm pretty sure (someone correct me if i'm wrong) that if a wider member shows better form than a fully fledged squad member then they can jump them for selection.
