@MajorRage said in EPL 18/19:

I'm casting a net
-
@mariner4life Tried that. Only caught one. And he bites at everything.
-
@MajorRage look right now I'm defending liverpool and top gun. Two front wars are hard okay?
Unlike Chelsea who are soft as shit
-
@mariner4life Not sure if that's supposed to be insulting. As it's pretty accurate at the moment.
Like saying Liverpool have never even won the premier league.

Not bothered with those top teams but ...
Wagner is gone from 'uddersfield - which is sad but inevitable.
Burnley managed to score 2 goals without a single shot on target.
The great Notts County are the very lowest team in the League and about to become the 2nd original member (after Accrington) to drop out. Although Accrington are back and doing very well.

Cracking goal by Schurrle (spelling) though ..... if you stay up, Ranieri will deliver the title next season!

zero transfer activity to date. I guess its hard to persuade someone to move given the probability of Championship football next season.
I still look at our playing roster and other squads in the Premiership and wonder why?
I also wonder how we might have gone without buying 11 players over the summer...
edit - we have bought Ryan Babel Netherlands and ex Liverpool to bolster our attack WTF

Good, fair article on Mourinho:

Interesting set of results today.
Brighton were 0-2 up at Fulham to go on and lose 4-2. Happy Days for @dogmeat
Burnley were 0-2 up at Old Trafford for Man U to score two late goals for a 2-2
City scored in the first minute at St James and went on to lose 2-1 to Newcastle. Happy Days for @Scousers!!
Wolves at home smack West Ham 3-0
We won 2-1 at home v Cardiff.
and Huddersfield lost at home 0-1 to Everton -
I fucking love you Rafa!!
-
@Hooroo still a loooooong way back for Fulham but we are due a bit of luck having had none at all against Burnley and Spurs (games we could have picked up 4 points from).
Defence still looks shonky but that was a must win for us.
I reckon 'uddersfield and Cardiff will go down so really looking for A.N. Other to slip back Possibly Palace or even Brighton on current form. Both teams I'd like to see stay up but not at our expense.
Unfortunately our fellow stragglers, Southampton and Burnley have come right. Newcastle as well - but Rafa deserves it. Man's an absolute legend

Another weird ole day of results (Some live)
Bournemouth crushed Chelsea 4-0
Liverpool and Leicester are currently level 1-1Liverpool held - and Spurs come back with 2 goals in the last 10 to beat Watford and gain on the 2 leaders.
The late goal at Bournemouth propelled us up to 4th in the league. That was unexpected!
-
And Arsenal and Chelsea both have Huddersfield and Man City in the next 2 rounds. Will be a good way to see how the two teams compare and which has the upper hand in the race for fourth.
Big decision for Emery on whether he wants to focus on the race for fourth or Europa and attempt the Chelsea route to the champions league.

Five points clear is better than four.

Right now I reckon United has the upper hand for 4th spot .....
