@canefan Living in north London and going to the games regularly, it's hard not to be, no matter how stupid it really is.
It's only sport
Good to see somebody else who supports a club because they lived nearby and went to games.
Makes a refreshing change from supporting a team just because they dominated when you used to still piss the bed.

@mariner4life Not referring to you obviously ... Liverpool haven't dominated for 20+ years, and you still piss the bed ...

After pulling down our pants, Liverpool lose away to City. Cracking game, but.
I still think it's the scousers to lose though as looking at the run in to May, Liverpool have it slightly easier.
four points is fucking nothing though, there just isn't room for any error. The amount of points you need to win the league at the moment is ridiculous.
True but City are making the errors against lesser teams where Liverpool are destroying them
not enough errors though, and the season is basically only at the half way point. for Liverpool to have a 17-3-1 record and only have a 4 point lead is ridiculous. Even Spurs in 3rd have 16 wins (their problem is they either win or lose).
It's a fair gap to 4th now, but i seriously believe any one of the top 3 can still win it, and will believe they can win it. I just expect City to go on with it, because history and pessimism.
PLEASE NOT SPURS! I'll happily sing you'll never walk alone if it helps!
I wonder what will happen once the fans expect Liverpool to win

What I find funny is a couple of kiwis trying to find some sort of moral high ground, based on nothing more than a cliched 90s OE spent in an overcrowded flat in London.

@mariner4life whose the other one? I thought it was only me ...

I'm casting a net
-
@mariner4life Tried that. Only caught one. And he bites at everything.
-
@MajorRage look right now I'm defending liverpool and top gun. Two front wars are hard okay?
Unlike Chelsea who are soft as shit
-
@mariner4life Not sure if that's supposed to be insulting. As it's pretty accurate at the moment.
Like saying Liverpool have never even won the premier league.

Not bothered with those top teams but ...
Wagner is gone from 'uddersfield - which is sad but inevitable.
Burnley managed to score 2 goals without a single shot on target.
The great Notts County are the very lowest team in the League and about to become the 2nd original member (after Accrington) to drop out. Although Accrington are back and doing very well.

Cracking goal by Schurrle (spelling) though ..... if you stay up, Ranieri will deliver the title next season!

zero transfer activity to date. I guess its hard to persuade someone to move given the probability of Championship football next season.
I still look at our playing roster and other squads in the Premiership and wonder why?
I also wonder how we might have gone without buying 11 players over the summer...
edit - we have bought Ryan Babel Netherlands and ex Liverpool to bolster our attack WTF

Good, fair article on Mourinho:
