IIRC, New Zealand sent their development teams last year.
All Blacks Sevens squad for the Oceania 7s (*new cap):
Jordan Bunce (Waikato)
Dylan Collier (Waikato)
Scott Curry (Bay of Plenty)
Sam Dickson (Bay of Plenty)
Scott Gregory (Northland)*
Taylor Haugh (Otago)*
Trael Joass (Bay of Plenty)
Luke Masirewa (Bay of Plenty)
Tim Mikkelson (Waikato)
Tone Ng Shiu ( Ta$man)
Amanaki Nicole (Canterbury)
Ngarohi McGarvey-Black (Bay of Plenty)
Joe Ravouvou (Auckland)
Andrew Knewstubb (Horowhenua Kapiti)With several players still to return from Mitre 10 Cup duties, Coach Clark Laidlaw has two new caps in Scott Gregory and Taylor Haugh along with the return of several players from long term injury. Ngarohi McGarvey-Black and Amanaki Nicole had promising All Blacks Sevens debuts in 2018 but injury cut their seasons short, while Luke Masirewa and Tone Ng Shiu get a chance after limited game time in 2018. Laidlaw said the Oceania Sevens was a great chance for the team to get out on the field before the HSBC World Series kicks off at the end of the month.
Dylan Collier and Sam Dickson will captain the team, with regular co-captains Tim Mikkelson and Scott Curry travelling with the team as reserves.
.
Black Ferns Sevens Development team:

This tournament is streamed online (and apparently on Sky Sport 3?), and I've watched a few of the AB7s games.
Good to see the guys get rid of some cobwebs, especially the players returning from injury, but due to the nature of this tournament, the opposition has been quite weak. The finals stages will hopefully be more interesting.
In the AB7s team, it was good to see McGarvey-Black return from a long injury break. He played well, and so were Knewstubb and some of the oldtimers (Curry, Dickson). Good to see Gregory make his debut and he seems to adjust well after having played NPC. Not convinced by the other new lad, Taylor Haugh. His passing is awkward most of the times.
Haven's seen the BF7s Dev team play, but they also destroyed their opponents thus far.
Found this schedule on Twitter:
I found two (legal) livestreams. The first one is probably geo-blocked, because they keep on repeating that it's for viewers outside NZ and Fiji. The other one might work.

Halftime New Zealand v Australia semi final NZ lead 7-0..NZ with most of the possession, but sloppy at times on attack, some good good defence..just a bit of individual brilliance from McGarvey Black the difference
-
Scott Gregory yellow carded for a tip tackle that was an awful call from the official, but McGarvey Black comes with another bit of brilliance to score for NZ when they are down to 6 players
NZ lead 14-0 -
Australia score with 50s to go,but conversation is missed..
NZ 14 Australia 5 -
Scrappy win from NZ,but you take your wins,2 awesome bits of skill from Ngarohi McGarvey-Black the difference, the kid has got some serious talent..brilliant step and pace, could be the next big thing.
-
Semi Final 2 underway Fiji v Samoa,
Samoa score and convert in the first minute lead 7-0 -
Fiji hit back with a brilliant long range in the corner which is brilliantly converted..7 a piece.just before halftime
-
And in a flash Fiji score right on halftime
Fiji 12 Samoa 7. -
2nd half underway
Fiji score from an intercept within the first minute Fiji 17-7 -
Fiji score again,try number 4,score 22-7 Fiji
-
Fiji now putting on a clinic..try number 5 scored 29-7 Fiji
-
Fiji run in try number 6 which is converted.
Final score Fiji 36 Samoa 7..
Fiji looking very ominous in this form..be a tough ask for NZ in the final. -
Women’s final score Australia 14 New Zealand 10..not a bad effort from a young NZ team, but they will be disappointed have had all the ball and field position in the 2nd half.
-
Men’s Final halftime Fiji 12 New Zealand 7
-
Nz score after the hooter to level 12 all,but Newstubb misses the conversation..extra time to come
-
Fiji score 3 minutes into extra time after Collier gets sent to the bin for a deliberate knock down leaving only 6 defenders on the field,Fiji win 17-12 ..brilliant final..!,full credit to NZ for forcing the game into extra time,a conversation could have won it,but that’s footy I guess..can see why Joe Ravouvou could not make the Auckland Mitre 10 Cup team..has just got no idea of doing the right thing at the right time..needless offloads and hands like feet..!

I reckon my other half would be pretty good at this game.
