All on board the West Coast bandwagon.

@kiwiinmelb ummm but he does have working class roots?
-
@nta ahh, he's worked for his money in a deplorable industry filled with fuckwits, and he runs a successful footy club, but mostly it's the "Gregan/Fitzy" syndrome - absolute fluffybunnies unless they play for your team 😁
But it was a cracker final. In rugby the adage is, a good big man will always beat a good little man.
And so it was with the Eagles fucken giants all over the place at the end

I would like to thank the Collingwood football club for beating Richmond last week, and then losing the grand final yesterday. You beauty

Last day of the the trade period. It's been loooooong on chat, but short on action.
Freo have held a lot up by trying to prove what a well run club they are by bidding unders for players coming in, and asking for overs for players going out. That in itself isn't an issue, but being bombastic about it doesn't help anyone.
For once, the Brisbane Lions are at the centre of a lot. We hold a decent pick (5) and we have a genuine a-grader wanting to come to the club. Dayne Beams is trying to engineer a move to Collingwood (apparently) but they are a little light on currency to get our best player, especially one who just signed an extension. There could be a big, multi-club deal done today to get a few players moved, and i read a trade last night that would allow a few places to get their man, and us to both keep Beams and get Neale.
Probably the biggest story is how fucked GWS suddenly are, with the salary cap squeezing a heap of talent out of the team all at once. Add in the VFL standard list the Suns are going to be left with tonight, it's not painting the expansion clubs in a good light.

@mariner4life We didn’t get Gaff but saints didn’t end the TP too badly picking up Hannebery and Kent.

Depends which Hannebery you get i guess.
Brisbane did pretty well. Picked up a gun, and a couple of guys to provide experienced depth, if not first 22 players (i honestly don't know much about them, except the guy from the Dogs is big bodies defender). Losing Beams was shit. And losing Beams for a laaaate first rounder, and future first rounder, hurts even more.
Free agency though aye? Making the draft far less important than it was. Look at the top teams, all traded away 1st and 2nd rounders to collect the top talent on offer. The guys at the top all got stronger at the expense of the guys at the bottom, without losing much.
The top 5 clubs will all turn up next year better than they were this year. Everything points to this being the year where Sydney finally miss the 8, maybe Geelong as well.

Didn't Shane Mumford and Jack Watts have good days yesterday?
Mumford shown on video doing a rail the size of a fucking sausage. Why do fluffybunnies video this stuff? Apparently 3 years ago though, so blow (hehe) back will be small.
Jack Watts' missus found a heeaaap of messages sent to and by him with a variety of women for hook ups and drugs (apparently he likes swimming. and tits. and rack. and tits) and released them to the internet. His stock with footy fans immediately rose a thousand points. I haven't seen these women, but apparently they are glamours. You don't even have to be good at footy to be neck deep in pussy.
