Days 22 – 28 <br />
<br />
I have fallen off the wagon well and truly. I knew it was coming, with the wedding and all, but even still it was disappointing. Back on the wagon again today.<br />
<br />
Weigh in tomorrow morning – I expect that I will be a gainer for the last week.<br />
<br />
Back on the straight and narrow now. -
Weigh in this morning (1 day late) and the scales stopped at 130kgs.<br />
<br />
Very happy with this given the eating drinking and lack of exercise in last week (although I did manage a jog at one stage).<br />
<br />
Am back on the healthy eating routine now and started exercising again this morning. Next stop 120kgs! -
and it makes you ahve to hold your stomach in too, meaing you are getting a premanent ab workout <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Great work mark! 9kgs lost and 1.5kg in a week is a damn good effort mate. Keep it going. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' />

A good weekf ro em, loads of exercise and ate very well, almost pure grilled seafood over the whole easter break.<br />
<br />
Th result was a weight in of 125kgs yesterday morning!<br />
<br />
Back under an injury cloud now afetr damaging a rib while surfing and having caught a cold over easter. -
Week 10 (I think)<br />
<br />
The scales stopped at 125kgs this morning. Not too surprising as my exercise has been down and my eating has been all over the place in the last week.<br />
<br />
Back into the routine now so should be on track again next week. -
Week 11<br />
<br />
The scales stopped at 125kgs this week so its back on the strict diet to get moving in the right direction. BTW I was at the doctor's today and she told me of an alternative measurement to BMI which she thinks I should us.<br />
<br />
Basically my waist (measured over belly button) should be under 100cms, or if it is under, then it should be 90% of the distance around my hips. She measured mine at 109cms. Apparently the thinking is that weight around the gut is a better indicator of health rather than weight overall. -
Fark mark - yer goin ORF son! Keep it up mate - the next milestone is in sight. <br />

<br />
Pretty sound thinking too - the size of your gut tells all manner of things about your habits. It also tells a little about your genetic predisposition re: weight gain i.e. people can put it on in different areas at different rates, but are generally the same which is mean put fat on around the back and stomach first generally while with women its hips, arse, and tits. Which is what we love about it right? <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /><br />
<br />
But most importantly the size of your gut points to how much strain you're putting on your back muscles and rib cage. People who are enormously overweight don't dig exercise much because the sheer weight of their body pulling down on them not only is a bitch to carry around as well as putting strain on the heart to feed all those extra blood vessels, but compresses their rib cage and makes it harder for their lungs to expand. When Dad was in hospital recently they were worried that the weight of his manboobies was going to finish him off so they got him into the weight loss and the old bugger is back down under 100kg! <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> I don't think he's been under 110 since he was shearing 150 head a day! -
Ahoy hoy<br />
<br />
Weigh day again. Today I was hoping to be the same weight as last time as the last two weeks have been very busy with my first baby (its a girl) arriving.<br />
<br />
Anyway the scales stopped at 119kgs - which in theory is another 2kgs off. However as I have hardly exercised in the last 2 weeks I think this may be loss of muscle rather than fat. Gunna try and start exercising again this week.<br />
<br />
My wife (who has been fully supportive of the weight loss efforts so far) is gunna join me on the diet.<br />
<br />
A bit of gossip - Former Wallaby blindside and Waratah captain Michael Brial had a baby at the same hospital at the same time as us.
