Will Beale be better though? They finally have Beale looking comfortable in a position, dangerous at times, now they move him?
I think he wants Beale to have more ball. Which I whole heartedly agree with from his point of view. He's the best chance Australia have of creating something out of nothing.

I agree he needs more ball, but as we know at 10 you want more steady and directing play rather than off the cuff.
I’d be concerned about him crabbing across field which he has a tendency to do sometimes. Giteau did it as well when he shifted to 10.

I found it interesting in the media they are talking about Foley being demoted and Cheika saying he took the demotion well. Maybe semantics but wouldn't it be better to come out and say we are going for a different attacking style and Beale is better suited. Or we need to give other players a chance in crucial positions to improve our depth. Shag Is the master in this tactic.
Seems a bit of a public shaming to say, yeah Foleys been a bit shit and hes been dropped as a result. Would do wonders for the players confidence.

Agreed. Get him more involved where he's dangerous, at 12 / 15.
It's a bit rich to blame Foley when other players are pushing passes, giving away penalties, falling off tackles etc.

Pocock ruled out with a neck injury. Pete Samu replaces him in the starting side.
Looks like the ABs are blamed for the injury
David Pocock has been ruled out of Saturday’s Brisbane Test with a neck injury. New Zealand targeted Pocock heavily in the breakdown in their two Bledisloe Tests and the Kiwis’ treatment left the flanker with neck soreness that he is yet to fully shake off. After the Auckland Bledisloe Test, Pocock could barely move his neck and nearly a fortnight later he is still suffering stiffness amid concerns for his long-term health. The flanker will be replaced in the starting side by Pete Samu.

Carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders will do that to your neck.

It's a fair point, there would ahve been 2 or 3 yellow cards vs ABs if those neck rolls had been done a couple of years ago, when they were the current hobby-horse of the IRB. It seems refs can only have one area to target for cards at a time, high shots as it stands now.

@machpants his neck woulda still hurt though....
Thing is, when you are at the breakdown the way he is, you are gonna take plenty of legit hits while trying to pilfer the ball.

Not one Aussie journo has commented on Hoopah's neck roll on Ardie or Bonocock's head high on Beauden.
That is strange when they were vociferous in their condemnation about the questionable tactics utilised to unseat McCaw...

having a big cry now.
Reap what you sow fellas, granted Franks probably should have had a YC, but that wouldnt have stopped the aftermath as it is now.
-
@taniwharugby I don't have a problem here with either Campo or Hooper comments.
They've lost a player to an injury which wasn't punished, when all World Rugby guidelines suggest it should have been. They have a right to be pissed off.

And now Folau is out.
Wallabies fullback Israel Folau has been ruled out of Saturday night's Rugby Championship test against South Africa in Brisbane.
Folau injured his ankle against the All Blacks in Sydney and missed the Wallabies' Auckland test last week, but was on track to return to the side in Brisbane.
However, he pulled up sore on Saturday morning and withdrew from the team, with Dane Haylett-Petty moving to fullback, Jack Maddocks coming onto the wing and Tom Banks making his way into the squad.

No Bono Cockwomble. No Folau. No Foley.
