Bledisloe I

I think Beaudy has been okay. Not too much aimless kicking. We have tried to play the game at tempo while also keeping the ball, which is all I really want. He has mixed up attacking the line and passing. He should be getting at least one of the kicks though.
Beaudy passed 22 times, ran 5 times and not sure how much he kicked. That is probably the right mix, even if the execution wasn't always the best.

I don't think BB is the problem either. If anything, they (the coaches) may have tried to change things too much or too fast, or make moves too complex. That takes time. It will stick at some point. Just hope it won't cost us points until it does.
No individual is the problem. It’s a team game. But he has been poor. If I were defending Barrett in that half, I would’ve been sliding because he was shovellling on without threatening the line. He didn’t even try and disguise it.
I hope he takes the line on a bit more. We do need better support play when he does because he is an excellent officer in the tackle because he has that uncanny ability to stay on his feet and get his arms free.
We need Taylor and Whitelock to lift a notch. We haven’t seen any of Taylor’s trademark wing runs.

Fucken nice

Some credit to Naholo. Did some good work in the leadup to the first try and a great steal there to create the counter attack.

Goodhue looks like he belongs

Not necessarily his try but Goodhue is showing his class. Nice tackle on Beale just then.
-
That was better from Barrett. Took it in and then unleashed the wide pass.
