If you want to know the background to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict this is a great podcast. There’s awfulness from everyone involved.

Cum Town did an episode (for their Patreon) where they went deep into the dark, pathetic parts of reddit to find out if it's still alright to make fun of adult virgins.
It's a fucking classic.

Good listen. Interesting background to his early days at CM and how he ended up at the dirty Mooloos

Arbuckle killed Rappe with a champagne bottle?
Almost certainly a fabrication. Likely she died from a combination of alcohol, kidney failure, and a bladder infection.
Interesting. Might have to listen to that one , cheers .
Do you listen to revisionist history by Malcolm Gladwell ?

@jegga Nah. I rather dislike Gladwell, to be honest. A few people have recommended it to me though.
I’m not a fan either but that podcast is usually very good . Jalopnik has one called Tempest that are pretty good too.

I've recently subscribed to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/inourtime/index.shtml
Melvyn Bragg (only mildly annoying) chairs a weekly discussion with three scholars on the topic of discussion for the week.
Back catalogue in the hundreds.
I've listened to everything from Cicero to Fusion to The Siege of Malta and the Sihk Empire. Covers ideas - scientific discovery, history and the arts and is about 40 minutes each time.

Gladwell is annoying but his podcasts are well produced.
Consensus that his content of his stories is of value though?
Imho it is , a good example is the truth behind the statue in Alabama podcast
That’s not to say Gladwell isn’t annoying. I find him less annoying now though, his books are good too I reckon.

@jegga yeah that was a good one.
The one about the news reporter falsely remembering being in combat opened my eyes to how flawed our memories are, something I've noticed getting older as the family reminisce. A lot of genuine but false recollections.
He was a bit shrill when dissecting college footballers and cte but the data seemed pretty clear.
Anyway thanks jeg, all good
