    Has Buckman played enough games?

Why no Hunt? Oh that's right Mark, he's an AB, he's probably too big for his boots.

Tahs have made 1 change from last week with Newsome coming off the bench and Clark sitting down. No Hooper and that will be the end of his Super season you'd think.

Jed Holloway at lock in a playoff game is an interesting one.

Buckman hasn’t looked right to me this whole season. He’s been easily beaten defensively and hasn’t quite had the sting in his running game that we’ve seen.

In form he and that guy Thomas make a decent midfield.

Whole season? He hasn't played "whole season". Only played four games due to injury.

Not sure where you see that I said he played the whole season as I know he’s had injuries. But any time he has played this season he hasn’t looked right either. So the coaches are playing him unfit or his form has been found wanting.

    No Hunt? Wtf.

He went off early in the 2nd half in the Chiefs game in Suva. Perhaps still injured if he hasn't played in the last 2 games.

@act-crusader You said he hasn't looked right (to you) this whole season. Hence my reaction.

He's been there the last couple of weeks I think.

@akan004 I haven't seen the last 2 Highlanders games so no idea. 🙂

Edit: Hunt was on the bench so must be dropped.

Think you said the same thing last time the two teams played. Waratahs smoked them.

@unite broken clock gotta be right some time.

Plus there are a few additions to the clan this time around to lift their quality I think? And the Tahs have no Hooper. I think Miller is an excellent open side but he's no Hooper

The Highlanders will want to keep 15 players on the field this time. That was the winning and losing of the previous game.

Keeping expectations low on this one. Up to the Smith's to get us through with leadership and execution.

Been a shitty month for the clan, not enough error free rugby for our gameplan

Waratahs on an upswing, last match excluded and 20 odd thousand pissing and moaning tweed jackets won't help either.

    Virtual pint NTA?

@siam only as good as your last game....

Historically, the Highlanders only have a 39.1% winning ratio against the tahs, dropping to 33.3% in Aus.

Although Highlanders won 4 of the last 5 with 3 in Sydney.

Another thing the stats say, when the tahs win at home v Highlanders, it's 13+

Obviously this is the main game of the night.

I hope the plucky boys from the south can come within 20 points of the mighty team from Sydney.

It'll be a squeaky bum finish for the good guys as we play ourselves back into form following the debacle against the Bumbies.
