@canefan Mike Brewer played over a decade in NZ rugby, first made the ABs in 1986 and last played for the ABs in 1995 - so I don't think he meets your criteria.

I was wondering the same thing so read the article to see if "sports stars" was mentioned. Lonergan is known for the Lonergan shuffle not his RL career.

Absolute case in point. I'm astounded to know Regan King is even alive. To me he is that young kid from Waikato who looked awesome and then disappeared off the face of the earth. a career gone too soon
