Five in a row for Eddie.
SA almost threw that away.
Some dumb play in the last 5 for sure. Twice they got turnovers and gave it straight back instead of eating time. The second time was worse because they should have realised they created a broken situation which England scored from.
Enjoyable game to have on in the background here in the UK listening to the ebb and flow of the condescending commentators.

I miss the days when the SH would clean-sweep June international Saturdays.
That's what we've done so far, esp if you count Japan with one of us vs 6 nations Italy! Now can argy hold up their end?

Lineout with a couple minutes to go, SA ahead by 3... SA are all lined up ready to go, while it's England dawdling in getting to it... bizarre.

England looked at the score board at 3-23 and said job done and stopped playing. SA went shit we need to start playing. Apparently when Billy came back everything would return to normal. He was totally ineffectual, but he will get 8 out of 10 from S Jones tomorrow in the Times

They're sick of Eddie Jones?
It happens after a while.

@shadowtrooper well if you play him at lock what do you expect, bell end.

The unburnt? he looks like he's been in the sun awhile to me

@rapido Itoje has that rare combination of being a fantastic player trapped in the body of someone who believes it a bit too much.
He's a bit of a fluffybunny.
But every time you think you want to smack him one Mike Brown comes into view and your target changes.
-
Fun game! Great to see S.A. fight back but Eng just went to sleep. Some great tries scored. Shields had a couple of decent touches but didn't make much of an impact. S.A. will be feeling good about the contribution from their overseas based players.
-
@taniwharugby WTF is she on about? Is she the Minister of white farmers' land reallocation?
-
@paekakboyz Faf and Duane were very good, especially Faf. I think they may have struggled to come back from that deficit without him. England exposed the Bok's wingers' defence early on.

Yes, England has quite a list of this type. Itoje, Brown, Sinckler, Marler and Farrell are fairly difficult to like.
I actually reckon Itoje is overrated and will not be happy to be proved wrong.
