@nepia His time in the Bay is discussed in the vid, although obviously from his perspective ... there may even have been a few frames of footage of the Central Vikings as well ...
Bloody hell, you've set them all off now!

@nepia is the only kiwi that submits a résumé for a job in case he gets triggered!
The Aussies are try hard Americans so they often say Resume instead of (the other words) - lots of them like to use American spellings as well - although that might just be because they let Microsoft Word do their spelling for them.

Wayne says he took the Hawkes Bay job because he knew nothing about running an organization and thought it would be a vital skill for his future.
He may or may not have given Hammer his play book.

shit he was fast!
Extremely. Great fend and swerve too. How the fuck was Caleb Ralph an AB ahead of him?

Watched this last night. Saw so many games at which I was a spectator. Very happy memories!
The culture Wayne brought to the Canterbury team continues today in the Crusaders.
Interestingly he praised Grizz as an innovator and an astute tactician. Somewhat at odds with his generally perceived persona. -
Finally watched the Wayne Smith doco. What else can you say but "Bloody Legend". What a great watch (apart from his try in Bernie's Corner to take the shield). The back story about him losing the ABs head coach job in 2002, his return, 2007 2011(still hard to watch) and 2015, he is a national rugby treasure

Funny you should mention 2011 being hard to watch. I watched my recording of this doco the other night. I punched the air when they showed Beaudy gather that kick and score at the end of the 2015 rwc final. Love it.

I've never watched 2011 on tv, despite having it on my old now dead sky machine. One time at EP was enough
