Argies playing well here. Fiji up 14-12 at HT. Game could go either way.

Fiji score underneath poles. Blind ref.

Full time: AB7s 36 - 5 Argentina
Salesi Rayasi scored off the re-start; Nanai-Seturo scored a try after a passage of play in which the AB7s looked like predators closing in on a prey after Baker kicked the ball far into the Argie half and the men in black chased down the Argie sweeper who caught the ball. With 19 seconds to go, Akuila Rokolisoa was sent to the bin for a high tackle on the Puma7s player who scored in the corner, but despite having a man less on the field, Nareki managed to score the sixth NZ try.

Jesus makes you feel old when little kids who used to turn up to training with dad are representing NZ. Go on Salesi!
He looks pretty good. The droppsie was a fuck up but he looks to have that special balance on his feet that enables him to go on after a tackle attempt. Could be a goodun.
We are missing a stepper / ball player in the middle to create some doubt in the opposition defence (Koroi). We are going wide early most of the time and it's a bit predictable.
Our defence has also been a bit weak (that call on a high tackle for Curry was bullshit).
Why they made that hothead Baker a co Captain....seriously? The Fijian should get a game off for the shove in his face though.

@machpants Nothing that wasn't expected.
They've added quite a few new players the last two tournaments, because we're missing quite a few players, either to injury or the NZ U20s: Joe Ravouvou, Caleb Clarke, Vilimoni Koroi, Andrew Knewstubb, Joe Webber, Ngarohi McGarvey Black, Trael Joass ...
We've got nothing to play for the last two tournaments because we can't finish higher than 3rd anyway, and would have to play a lot worse to drop to 4th. The last two tournaments are a good opportunity to develop players and to give the newbies valuable game time against good teams.
