Blues v Rebels

@akan004 My point was whinging about refs is stupid, because it will always swing both ways.
I didn’t whinge about the ref in Saders/Tahs at the time for that reason. I’m trying to stop completely. Because refs give and they take away.
The circle of refereeing life. Hakuna Matata.

Brave to try and go zen on the refs. I'm a bit like cricket - I don't mind wrong decisions so much - it's the bad decisions that kill me. It seems to me the quality of rugby refereeing is at an all time low, and they are not helped by being given appallingly bad laws to use - probably unrefereeable laws to be fair.

As expected, not a word from the Foxsports clowns about how every call went the Rebels way. Nothing about the forward pass leading up to the first try or the side entry to prevent a certain Blues try. Had it been the other way around...
As for Tana, show some class and step down you useless prick.
Edit: Now they are having a whinge about the Samu issue. Really hope Ireland tear them a new one over the next few weeks.
Boo fucking hoo. The Blues played horribly and didn’t deserve to win, end of.
After the Tahs got the shaft against the Saders we were due a bit of luck in NZ.
I agree the Rebels got the rub of the green, but that’s rugby. There were no calls I thought were particularly aggregious.
Riiight.

@akan004 who are ‘you guys’???
Fuck right off mate. The only bloke I see whinging about the ref here is you.
This business of painting entire nations as sore losers/whingers is ridiculous. Every nation has their share of dickheads who can’t cop when a ref makes a blunder.
Nobody is perfect in this regard, and throwing stones like that just makes you look like a fool.
Isn't that @akan004 's point?

The Tahs did get shafted by the ref in that game.
They got a couple of pretty awful calls go against them at crucial times. They got a couple go their way too.
-
@tim not saying they didn't get bad calls (a couple of shockers). But it wasn't exclusive.

I'll get accused of white knighting but questioning the decency of a person is getting a bit carried away surely?
@crucial I'll remind you of all the things you said about Justin Marshall, Reuben Thorne, Caleb Ralph et al. There is no moral highground.

Doubt I have ever questioned their decency or integrity. Just think that's a bridge too far.
By all means question ability or 'right' to continue. -

@crucial Care to comment on Tana as a coach?
Think I've made my views clear previously, but basically I think like the latter days of Lam and some of Kirwan's tenure their ability to shine as a coach has been hamstrung by many and varied factors.
Have they been the type of coach with the experience to get better results from a dysfunctional unit or overcome injury problems disrupting planning? Clearly not. Are they the completely useless fools some fans made them out to be? I also think not. -
@crucial Yes, I got carried away there and went too far. However, he represents a region of 1.8M people in NZ, and has horribly failed them. He knows he's terrible at his job, he knows he's responsible for further diminishing rugby in that region, and he knows that there are much better coaches around.
Everything ethical, everything logical tells him to just resign.
