And Mourinho moaning that the other team parked the bus in the 2nd half. Pot meet kettle...

For you historians out there, is Giroud the first player to win consecutive FA Cups with different teams?

The latest rumour is that former Sevilla and PSG manager Unai Emery will be appointed as the new Arsenal manager. Arteta overlooked due to his lack of experience. Emery certainly won't have the budget he had at PSG.

This is what I was afraid of. The owners are still reluctant to spend money which would have attracted a better quality of manager.

Didn't he just get run out of PSG? At least he won't have to worry about trying to cope with a Neymar type star at the Emirates.....

Yes, for failing in the Champions League, particularly that loss to Barcelona. PSG cleaned up in Ligue 1.

3 Europa Cup wins with Sevilla. That might come in handy. 🤣

3 more things than Spurs have won in the last 10 years.... 😔

Schoolboy errors from Karius. Klopp may look at Butland.

Way to leave your goalie behind! Ruined what was a really great game.

@dogmeat Pleased you made it as the team that finished clear in 3rd. Now will Sessegnon stay?

High point of the Champions League final was the pitch invader as Ronaldo was about to score the 4th, take his shirt off and claim all the credit when he'd had a poor game.

I reckon Bale's goal was the finest ever of its type - incredible piece of athleticism just to direct it towards the goal and the perfect placement was a bonus!

@kiwipie sessegnon has been with us since he was 8 and has said he wants to play for Fulham in PL. Drums were beating about a sale to Spurs with a loan back to Fulham which ticks a lot of boxes - but who knows. I hope he stays obviously and also think at just 18 he's better off playing at Fulham than sitting on the bench at one of the big clubs.

It's not just him though - Fredericks is off contract - 3 of the team from Saturday were loan players. We have to re-sign Jokanovic. Gonna be a busy summer.

I think Fulham's current first side are good enough to survive in the PL but we really lack depth. Hopefully there are some more gems coming through the club.

Meanwhile I have to get used to re-assessing ambitions from winning every game to survival. 🙂

When watching the game live it seemed that every RM player except Ronaldo was celebrating Bale's goal in the corner. But a different camera angle on a replay did show him smiling. Reluctantly, I'm sure.

Could have been. Envy and ego are words that also applied.

Ronaldo delivered the cross didn't he? Thus he probably takes credit
