Aussie panel is having go at refs panel ... but, should always be neutral ref at least even.

Foxtel host blaming the ref of course.

    "It's just the perception."

    Dickhead.

    "We have to cheat better."

Goodhue lifted the Tahs player and dropped him on his shoulder/head in the last tackle and the ref just turned a blind eye. Tahs can feel pretty aggreived after that, though if Foley could kick they would have won anyway.

Whitelock’s talk is good, talking about patience and changing small parts of the strategy. Sounds like an AB captain to me.

@wally Israel can't be happy how the Crusaders came in hard from so far behind.

This is weird for two reasons, 1. I think I'm watching netball because of the female commentator and 2. I actually want the Crusaders to win. I feel dirty.

It put me off right from the jump - it is a game played by blokes and blokes who are part of the game instinctively know what is happening and offer better, more interesting commentary as a consequence.

Oh dear. You could see it slowly unraveling after the saders scored their first try. Could really have ended up with another try or two on top of the 31 straight points.

Straight off the bat Fox' people were into the referee and the blogsters are hyperventilating just the same at The Roar. It's a feature when we play and lose elsewhere, not a fault.

Swannell is a very good commentator. She's always been good on Radio sport as well. Don't know what the fuss is about.

Nice that we are back to the fifties. Rugby’s not just a game for guys, hasn’t been for years.

    I thought she was ok.

Yeah, I thought she was ok, just reminded me of netball.

First I've heard of her. I already like her more than TJ

Mouunga almost fucked the Cantabs good and hard there. Spends opening 30 minutes sending delightful little pitch kicks directly to Folau only to see the whole lot run right the fuck back past him for 5 pointers.

Then 2nd half he has a few glory hunter snipes with a veritable bukkake queue of Cantabs waiting outside him ready to stroll into the pleasure zone.

Then 79th minute instead of grinding out the clock he lofts back another tinpot kick for old times sake to give NSWF one more free burl

a bit harsh on RM.. In 4 of the tries (not incl. PT), he was the one who gave the assist in 3 of them..

Was a good game to watch.

Thought Crusaders would pull away late but it didnt happen.

Foley's game has gone to shit the last few years.

Blues beat the Tahs by 3, Crusaders beat them by 2. Obviously the Blues will beat the Crusaders by 1 next week.

    A very, very strange game.

Swannell - somehow the ambience is wrong for me. After 50 years of listening to male commentators it just sounds wrong. Hopefully will get better with more listening - a bit like Sumo! 🙂

Crusaders got out of jail a bit in that game.

Rocky is right - Richie had one of his worst games - in fact he, Hall and Bateman (the inside backs) were the principal architects of the 29 point deficit. I'm far from convinced Razor has things right in choosing Bateman/Goodhue over Goodhue/Tamanivalu in the midfield. Hopefully, he won't have to make that choice again.

Mark Reason can dwell on his two play-makers theory from earlier today, as well.

Good to come back, but I think the ref. helped to dictate the flow of the game. I thought the tahs got some friendly calls in the first 25 minutes, but things got evened up later.

Overall, to beat the tahs you need to keep the ball out of the hands of Folau and Beale. We got ourselves in the shit by not doing this. On the other hand, Foley doesn't seem to be quite the player he was a couple of years ago.

Looks like Moody might get a bit of a holiday for his shot on Beale before scoring his try, elbow to the neck

Nick McArdle on Fox Sports is going off at the referee and I can't say I blame him. Moody should have received a yellow or possibly a red for an elbow on Beale in the lead up to the Crusaders' first try and that last tip tackle should have been a penalty to the Tahs. Crusaders were lucky.

Foley is a shadow of his former self. Who else is in the frame at 10 for the Wallabies? I can't even think of anyone.
