Black Caps v England Test series

It’s par for course that a lower order black cap wins/saves a test with the bat rather than the ball..

First home series win vs England since 83/84!
First ever Warriors team to start season 4-0 and first time Spurs beat Chelsea at the bridge in 27 years. What a sporting weekend!

Wow what innings from the lower orders.
Guts, determination, selfless.
And great call by Wagner to go for the review, he probably knew he’d be out but it chewed up enough time for bad light to be called.
I really thought we were fucked 6 down with almost 2 sessions left.
Great stuff, will go down in history as one of the great escapes.

People who don't know cricket just would never, ever understand what happened today. How pumped you can get about a team not even trying to win, just doing everything to salvage a draw. There is so much drama, and such riveting viewing in watching a team deadbat their way to save a test. Faf batting for about 9,000 deliveries to save that test in Aus a few years back is the most i have ever been glued to cricinfo, and i wasn't even supporting either team.
Test cricket is weird

@mariner4life just got trolled by the missus who was wondering why a draw was worth celebrating... started explaining, saw the smirk, then Ish smacked 4 for his fiddy and she was 'that's more like it!' Still smirking!!

Sure you're not because that gets you the stink eye at best. But you're thinking it

@mimic if they have to open even a single bottle tonight something is terribly wrong in the dressing room!
So stoked for Ish, didn't bowl as well as any of us would have liked, but by oath did that man contribute to the cause. Has been great to see the development of CdG too - really showing his value to the team. Wags? man, we already know that guy is tumeke as!

@mimic have been really impressed with CDG. They clearly rate him as a bowler, and he picked up some decent movement and generally bowled well as a 3/4 seamer. Batted very well too. Pity he's 31, but probably doesn't have too many miles in the legs, so could play for another few years.

Batting average of 38, bowling average of 29. That's a decent career already.
