@african-monkey Rebels already got beaten handily by the Tahs 2 weeks ago.
In fairness that was in 40 degree weather so I think the Rebels will be stronger at home - and missing Ardie and Proctor will be no small matter for the Canes (e.g. Aso is not really a 13) so it should be a decent contest.
I'd sense that the Canes having come off the intensity of playing recent nz derbies should be too good in the end for the Rebels.
The loss of Ardie is well made up by Sam Henwood.
I didn't see that Tahs v Rebels game, but by some accounts the result was due to unexpected tactics by the Tahs that the Rebels simply weren't prepared for. Lots of kick chase on the wings and high balls. Anyone confirm?

@crucial What's interesting is the Rebels have decided to start without a proper 7, instead having Fainga'a off the bench.
Rebels issue will be at 10 - Debreczeni is fairly average - they've mostly gotten away with it thus far but he is up against Beaudie this week.

@kiwimurph Yeah a strange collapse against the Waratahs when they were in full control as well being 20-3 up. No Dane Haylett-Petty this week as well which is a massive loss but I still see the Rebels being competitive in this game before fading late on. Hurricanes by about 10 or 15.

@crucial Their defence gave up after the Tahs got close. Rather bouncy tries in that match for both teams I reckon.
From what I have seen so far, I think the Tahs will win the Aussie conference, with Hooper, Foley, Beale and Folau they have the best players of that bunch and their supporting cast is just as average as the other teams(or maybe a bit better).

TJPs support play is amazing, he's always on hand to capitalise on half breaks up the middle.
-
Beauden brilliant.
Very tough call on the offside to rub out the try.

Boom! Lam with the HIT!
