Dixon in, pass is marginal though...
They didn’t even look at the last pass....
That was the most questionable part for me. Still a try though.
To me the most questionable past was the referring, going back more than 2 breakdowns to look at something on video

Not enough impact or size for a lock.
Not enough impact or skill for a 6.
Too many stupid penalties.
Yeah, seems like one of those players that can play wither 6 or lock, but neither to the highest standard. Like a cricket all-rounder that is only competent at batting/bowling without being a standout.

That was a pretty scrappy game. Worst I've seen the Crusaders. Understandable given the injuries of course.
Long way from their best team and they had a bit of bad luck too.
Great game when you think about who is missing.

@gt12 I don't. They need someone who can run straight at 12.
Yeah, Bateman is extremely limited as a player. The Canes under Hammett replaced Nonu with Bateman in the dark old days... sheesh talk about polar opposites.

What???
This season - or ever?
You must have missed a lot of games during the Blackadder era!
I thought we went alright for the first 60 minutes.

Maybe I’ve just been watching too many Chief’s games with Fa’auli at 12.

@wally It's certainly a worry if he and Romano are NZ's 3rd and 4th choice locks. The drop-off is huge.
Drop-off from Mo'unga to Hunt is pretty sizeable, as well. On average his "last minute" drop-kicks vs the Highlanders have probably balanced out.
I remain pretty mystified at why we've conscripted Irish Ollie Jager.
