Broom played some very good innings last summer and over the winter as well against good opposition. Brownlie is the only other option to bat 3 IMO with Williamson out. Broom was always a bit of a short term solution.

They could've given one of the young guys a go.

Good call. Broom is hardly likely to suddenly get better at his age.

    Like who? Bruce isn't a #3.

With this being cut to a T23 game it has played into the Windies hands. Even with messers Duckworth & Lewis coming into play and lifting the target to 166, it should be an easy target to chase down - if the rain stays away.

West Indies don't have that much if Gayle goes early.

Gayle gone. Windies shouldn't get near this.

Another one. Windies are quite a good T20 team if they get their best players together but I don't think many of these guys have actually played IPL.

Poor decision, that was missing by miles. Can't believe they didn't review.

In fairness, those often don't go your way when they are just clipping, so can't be too critical. Poor decision though, did not look out.

8/4, this tour can't end soon enough for the Windies.

My perspective is you should always be reviewing in those circumstances. In a T20 you get less LBW's and caught behinds and you don't get many anyway. You are the best batsman left. If there is any doubt you should just be reviewing there.

What’s the lowest score we have dismissed a side for?

Windies will be a bit better in the T20s with Badree, Pollard and Braithwaite but the rest of them look so terrible right now it shouldn't make a difference.

I don't think there can be any doubt that this current Windies side is definitely worse than Bangladesh.

Can someone get in touch with the Afghanistan cricket board? Would be nice to have a competitive team tour here for once.
