Pulu had a good game.
Aside from his passing. So many go to the 1st receiver high.
Mind you Justin Marshall made a long career from doing just that.

Referee Pickerall has had a shocker - way too pedantic for this kind of game.
Pulu had a good game.
Thought both those late yellows were poor calls.
First one for deliberate knock forward Naiyaravoro clearly used two hands and tried to catch it.
Second one Quade was awkward due to the Wob who got in his road, rode up, collected Izzy high (penalty), but pulled out of the impact and didn't impart much force. Penalty only in my opinion. I can see how Pickerill reached his conclusion but I don't agree. Not my favourite ref.
Of what I saw Quade went well. Matured a bit perhaps?

I might be wrong, but I think on the Nayarovoro yellow the referee gave it due to an offside and I heard the him say "I warned you on the first half, he is going off for repeated infridgements", which would be crazy if he actually warned them 40 minutes ago. Seemed like he blew the whistle and panicked a bit. Might also be wrong and it was due a deliberate knock down.
Agree on the Kwayde yellow. Also agree that he went well on the offence and didn't really catch any glaring misses on defence.

Anybody watched the full post-match press interview of the BaaBaa's coach?
Amusing. That’s Alan Jones for ya. Never short of a controversial word or two. But I agree somewhat. I watched the game and thought the YC’s were very poor decisions in the context of what was a decent match.
TNW is made for Baabaas rugby.

Coetzee also announced that Siya Kolisi will return to Cape Town after the Test against France in Paris on 18 November as his wife, Rachel, is due to give birth the following week. He will not be available for the Test against Italy on 25 November in Padova, but will re-join the group for the final tour match in Cardiff against Wales. Players who are contracted to overseas clubs – Franco Mostert, Francois Louw and Elton Jantjies – will not be considered for selection for the 2 December encounter against Wales, as this Test falls outside the international window. Other players not considered for selection for the four-week tour because of injury or other reasons include amongst other: Warren Whiteley (No 8), Jaco Kriel (flank), Frans Malherbe (prop), Sbu Nkosi (wing), Ruan Combrinck (wing) and Jan Serfontein (centre).

Pity that Connacht lost Shane O’Leary to Canada. Himself and AJ McGinty who was capped by USA were both useful 10s. Instead we have frickin Bleyendaal qualifying next year. Dumb.

I've updated the first post of this thread (http://www.thesilverfern.com/post/186962) with the broadcast details of the matches to be played on 10-12 November (depending on where you are). See also at the bottom of that post if you're outside NZ. Some details may change, so I'll check them later in the week.
