Black Caps in India

Only one of the teams I actively support won at the weekend. Didn't think it would be the Caps. Stoked that it was.
Likewise, in a weekend where the Black Caps played India in India, the Steamers played in a knockout game that wasn't a promotion-relegation game, and the All Blacks an Australian side that they were 2 - 0 up on... what were the odds of that win-loss outcome? Somehow all still feels right in the sporting world despite an All Blacks loss!

27/3. Eek, should have given the ball to Boult to get us on the front foot early. Will need big runs from Rosco & Latham again to have a chance.

@no-quarter Did we win that toss NQ?
esit - cheers JK

Do we never learn? Did the WC at the MCG not make us learn anything?!!!

@canefan do Black Cap supporters ever learn? It'll be 2-1 India at the end of this series. It's the Black Caps...
Building us up just to tear us down.....

That's enough for me, early start tomorrow so taking @Siam's advice and looking forward to reading about a famous victory in the morning.

Hopefully Milne will bowl better than he bats. A golden duck for him.
Santner has had to cut out the risk taking shots now. I'm guessing they will prod out 2 of the remaining four overs and attack the last two hoping to get a couple of balls over the fence and 220 -
@crucial You think they've got a plan?
If I could be arsed, I'd create one of those memes the kids love so much, a picture of a false dawn labelled "OPTIMISM: Black Caps Supporters"
I think the plan currently consists of "hope that every article about this match mentions the groundskeeper controversy"
