@kiwimurph Agreed. Looks like we'll have Perofeta/Gatland then to start off with.

@tim neither of our 10s look upto Super Rugby, Hawkins had a stint with the Rebels in 2016 and is a good solid 10 (brave defender in the mould of Holwell) and IMO M10 Cup is his ceiling, Breen showed promise when he came North, was in Blues dev side but has failed to kick on, not helped by our chopping and changing 10s.

@taniwharugby if Hawkins had a decent kicking game he'd up his value. Except he fires off line kicks like the last bit of water dribbling out of a hose!

Sam Cane has re-signed with NZ rugby and the Chiefs for four more years (end of the 2021 season)!

The Hurricanes have signed Jackson Garden-Bachop for two years.

It's interesting that the Rebels let him go; he was on a two-year contract, so had another year to go. I guess, with their new coach coming from the Force, he may bring a first-five with him from Perth?

Very good signing. (And West will be concerned). He was a big improver this year so will watch with interest how he goes.

Jackson Garden-Bachop signs two-year Super Rugby deal with Hurricanes
After making his debut in Super Rugby with the Melbourne Rebels in 2017, Wellington first five-eighth Jackson Garden-Bachop is coming home. -
Do the Crusaders still have Leon Fukofuka? Is he even still in NZ, as I can't recall seeing him for Auckland this season. If he's still on the books then there's a logjam after Hall and Drummond consisting of Stratton, Enari and Fukofuka and surely someone will sign elsewhere.
