How is the Aussie lock nick frost going. Heard a wee rumour he might be moving to nz

@stargazer said in 2017 NZ Schools:
@nepia Uhm, yeah, that's why he's not in the squad. Not followed the thread? Got injured in the Top 4 semi against St Kent's.
I thought it wasn't confirmed in the press releases ....

Good win in the end; the second half was much better than first. Faingaanuku, Toala, Flanders & Vaa’i were IMO the best.
The team could have performed better if they'd played more like a team, but I guess they haven't had enough time together for an optimal performance. I stick to what I said before the game; they should have started Toala and McClutchie. -
@nepia You mean these shit NZR media releases? They're hopeless. In the team naming for the 2nd test, they named the NZ Barbarians School team instead of the NZ Schools team.
Edit: I saw a post from one of the HB rep coaches on FB, who confirmed he was still injured. One week later, and he would probably have been able to play.

I thought Funaki played well too. He made one glaring mistake in the 1st half when he went to a short blindside that was stacked with defenders but otherwise had a good game.
Maloney had the Nisbo disease as he was regularly saying Vaa’i when it was Alaimalo.
-
I thought Funaki was good, but sometimes too much holding onto the ball or attacking himself, when he should have passed. Fakatava is a special player. I hope we'll get a good new coach in the Bay, who won't destroy him and hinder his development (like Phil Crackpott).
-
Not sure who it was but got a message from someone involved with the aussie schools team today saying a hastings boys player got man of the match.
-
Devan Flanders won the bronze boot and joins pretty prestigious company. Impressed by his work rate in games.
-
Yep, Devan Flanders. Well-deserved.
