@Bones happened frequently in our U20 or whatever it was that won the WC earlier this year, so with many of these guys in the M10 Cup teams I guess its just natural progression 😞

Record number of points for an opening weekend in the Aviva Prem, with a hatful of bonus points, and some very tasty tries. Saracens reamed Saints, even with 3 or 4 Lions rested, which is a shot across the bows of the rest of the league (although would be more convincing if against anyone other than the perennially underachieving Saints). Wasps looking good too.

24 tries in two matches? Where was the defence? Pfft sounds like basketball rugby to me....

Northampton have just signed Dan Biggar from Ospreys. Odd really as they already have Myler and Piers Francis, plus Harry Malinder (more of a 12 IMO) and also James Grayson - son of Paul the ex-England fly-half.

Not really that odd for me. Biggar's a better ten than any of them. Mallinder and Francis will probably feature more at 12 when he arrives(still question marks over Mallinder anyway). Myler will be 34/35 the season he gets there and Grayson isn't a sure thing as prospects go. Could be great, but could just end up as a squad player.

In other news Tuilagi comes back, plays a game, does his knee and is out for another 12 weeks.

You could well be right. I haven't seen much of Francis and TBH, nothing of him at 10. Malinder did well at u20 level playing at 10 but agree, his place is likely at 12. Was surprised to see Biggar is only 27 or so - he seems to have been around for ages.

It's always sad to see a player on an injury streak - Manu's never going to fulfil his potential. Just unlucky? Too much bulk, too young? Who knows. Truth be told, I don't think England needs him anymore.

Yeah, he shouldn't really be in the conversation until he gets 6 months of rugby under his belt. Seems as far away from that as ever at the moment.

He's quite a talent/force of nature, but yeah, currently who would you drop for him?

Shocking attendance - I won't even use the word crowd.

Apparently 20,000 turned up in Bloemfontein to watch the Cheetahs win in a 13-try humdinger against Zebre - 54-39.

Yep. Welsh sides either playing like shit or throwing games away at the death so far this season.

Not sure where to post this; posting it here because he's playing in the NH.

Andre Taylor has been named in Japan's national development squad.
