Hurricanes v Crusaders
-
both teams trying to lose this
-
@taniwharugby Fancying a sojourn to SA to escape the weather?
-
surely that was a pen against the cane on the deck, was a ruck, crusaders cleaned out, he is there by himself flicks the ball ball on the ground?
-
@taniwharugby
It could be argued that with the way the draw works this year, neither team would mind losing too much. -

Similar to one he pinged the saders for earlier

@taniwharugby From memory, but I'd need to look at it again - if Crusaders lost, they wouldn't play the Lions until the Final anyway? And they'd be hoping for Lions to lose the Semi, which would mean they still get a home Final?
Something like that? -
bad call

If Crusaders lose they will likely lose home advantage for final (if they get that far)

Something like that?Why would you want to hope though? The Crusaders can sell home field advantage with a win. If the Lions win tomorrow and the Canes win now, the Lions will play the Sharks at home and then probably the Hurricanes.

Unless they're backing one of the other NZ teams to knock over the Lions. In which case, they still get a home final... not sure if that's "likely" or not.
But yeah - it could be argued, but I doubt either team is really going to throw a game and lose momentum. -
