Crusaders vs B&I Lions
-
Well done Lions. Played good.
Hard luck Saders. Hopefully a lot of lessons for some of our younger players. Some decent stuff but plenty of rubbish.
-
I don't know what Howley's laughing about. Farrell yes.
Great defensive line speed, structure and most importantly realignment.
-
@No-Quarter James Lowe is a better wing than Dagg and Savea.
-
No scrum penalties now?
-
Lions much better. Points more to them just using the first two games to get used to being out there together and absorb some kiwi rugby.
But crusaders an absolute bag of shit. Embarrassing for the most part, made it look like the first preseason game.
Some off the wall reffing, but crusaders could've easily got into the game.

Well done lions , end of the day , it's good for the tour that they aimed up
-
wtf...you cant lose the game, but you just kick it out, see a NZ team in that situation would have had a crack
-
Well done LIons, just what your tour group needed!!

They're here to win, not entertain. The Crusaders couldn't figure that out in front of the posts in the first half.
-
Crusaders backs absolute dire shit. The forwards held their own, but backs had nothing on attack. Shocking mistakes, poor ball handling and passing. Lions fully deserved to win, although the hurricanes and chiefs with far superior back lines will be licking their lips.
-
@Donsteppa they had already won, and scored 2 tries in 3 games...

And you think they were going to score a third try by that stage? I think they didn't give a shit and were rightly just happy to win.

Good effort by the Lions forward pack and defence. Not really troubled by a poor effort from a rattled Mo'unga, not exactly helped by Havili and Bridge.
Only good part of the Crusaders effort; Lions couldn't score a try despite all that territory and possession.
-
Crusaders forwards dominated and a lot of average players looked average. Reminiscent of the first half they had against the Blues.
Sad to let the Lions win one, but at least I'll never have to hear people proposing players like Taufua and Havili for the All Blacks again.

@Donsteppa just shows the difference in mindset
