How are the AB's tracking heading into the BIL series?
-
If you miss a tackle that leads to a try, but that try was disallowed, then did you really miss that tackle?

Oh, and that try was disallowed.
Because he missed the tackle? Is it a variation of the "not allowed to tackle Dan Carter" rule?
-
@mariner4life Yes, but missing a tackle in itself doesn't mean anything. It all depends on where it happened, what happened before and after it, where on the field it happened, etc etc But that's kind of obvious, too, isn't it?
-
@mariner4life no...cos you knew the try was going to be disallowed.
Read will start and read will be excellent, no further correspondence will be entered into..f#ck off.
Hope you cnuts are all inside for fear of the sky falling on your pussy heads!

@taniwharugby precisely what the fuck else have we got to talk about? Jesus, this is the worst year for decent rugby shitfights ever. Creating crises brought on by All Blacks wanting to withhold sex from their wives (or, in the case of broken thumbs, get more) is fucking all we've got.
The Lions were supposed to come to the party by reaming the part-timers on the weekend, and they didn't deliver.
-
@mariner4life that's the point, after the disappointment of Saturday, we could just call in half that team to wear black and she'll be right!
No need to worry, plus, gotta keep our arrogance levels up!

It has been pretty bland around here the last couple of years. When I first came here it was epic, shit fights breaking out everywhere. Where has the passion gone? Is this a result of our recent dominance? Nobody seems to really care anymore. Even if we get a controversial selection everyone is just like "yeah well Hansen and co know better then me, I trust them". It's weak - since when have the AB coaches and selectors known better then the Fern collective? Where is the outrage?

The angst took a massive hit in the spring of 2011. 2015 all but euthanized it. Winning and stability breeds contentment. Wait until Fozzie takes over, there'll be time for the angst to come back

@Chris-B. I'm taking Patty T for the Charlie, Patty T, Savea physical impact in the last quarter.
Romano has good form though, so if it's him, not big deal.
Tuipulotu is sitting on the Blues bench for a reason. Meanwhile Romano is in great form.
It's not even close.
-
@mariner4life said in How are the AB's tracking heading into the BIL series?:
@Frye and that reason is Tana is a shit selector
And in case you hadn't noticed, this is now a cheerleader thread
Tuipulotu's attempts at maul defence have been atrocious at times.
Theres a reason Blues fans (the people actually watching the games) are largely silent about his bench selection for this game.
Also a broken record thread apparently.
-
@Frye I'm hoping the maul stuff is more a Blues problem then a Pat T problem - the whole pack has been atrocious in that regard. I imagine that is less of an issue in the AB environment.
In saying that I think Romano should be our bench lock for the first test given his form this year.
-
@No-Quarter he's the biggest guy in the middle of the pack, so it's not surprising that something they're not doing collectively well, is in part due to one of their most important players in that area, not pulling his weight.
I've seen him hang off the side too often for my liking, rather than jamming his head in the deepest darkest recesses of the drive.

Hurricanes assistant coach John Plumtree has cast major doubt over Dane Coles' availability for the British and Irish Lions series.
Plumtree said the All Blacks' first choice hooker, who has been out with concussion since March 18, would not feature for the Hurricanes in Friday's Super Rugby clash against the Chiefs in Wellington.
He said it was looking highly unlikely Coles would be ready to face the Lions with the first test on June 24 in Auckland.
"He hasn't been able to train hard enough at this stage. It's hard to say whether he'll be available for any of the tests or the first test."
-
@mariner4life subtle? Too subtle for me ... i missed whatever it was ...

@mariner4life oh ... number 11 ...
