@Bones Yes, then NZ goes through even after a loss to Fiji and a win from Canada, because then NZ & Canada would have the same number of wins, but NZ has beaten Canada.

    But Canada has beaten Fiji...

@Bones Arrrggghhh, yes, I see. Three countries with the same number of wins. Sorry, it's late haha.

@Stargazer who Fiji would have beaten. So each team would have beaten and lost to one other they're equal on points with you see...

@Bones Haha, had just edited my reply. Damn, we need to beat Fiji. That's going to be difficult.

If Fiji beats nz by 1 point, then nz will miss out if Canada beat Japan by 33 points.

NZ just needs to stay within 19 points of Fiji - and with a good start, 12-0 up... we're looking safe.

    See-saw game.
NZ 24-14 up, with a Fiji player off... looking sweet.
Nek minute - Fiji back to 7 men, NZ down to 6 - 22-21
Edit: Finally - a try to clinch it, Fiji get to play for a trophy.

Awesome! Much better from the boys, real intensity in attack and especially defence. Forbes was huge as we're Dickson and Webber, the old boys standing up. Nice confidence from Houston!

The English commentator got worked up after that try, "Houston, we don't have a problem".

It was a great effort I thought especially given we were down a man.

So Samoa finish 13th overall in Titch's first season. A bit tough with Titch not coaching the first couple of tournaments but Samoa will be paying him a decent figure so they would have hoped for better I would have thought.

What a disgrace. The ref completely fucked the AB7s over.

NZ penalised for having 8 men on the field because Scotland started the play quickly while the NZ player was still leaving the field. Total joke. Unbelievable. This has cost them the semi-final.

NZ 7s completely blew that. You could see it coming. Sums up their season completely.

@KiwiMurph Don't think they blew it. The ref did.
