Geez, that game had me on the edge of my seat. So close. Abbott should be the Man of the Match.
Abbott was great but Barrett scored a try and set one up which almost no one in the team could have done. That's the point of difference he provides.

Blues are actually a pretty decent team, but they've gone down again in a derby game.
It seems like a mental thing now, they just don't know how to win these games.
Funny thing is, they'd probably easily be one of the top 8 teams in the comp, but they won't go close to the playoffs!

Abbott scored two tries tonight.

As far as I'm concerned, good riddance to Piers Francis. Nothing against him personally, but it's a joke that a NZ franchise has to resort to the journiest of journeymen English 1st fives.
If TJP & BB stay injury free, the Lions will have nightmares.
Hopefully Fatiolofa injury is not too severe. Great game from Abbott.

Almost any other player would have scored tries from those positions. Abbot worked hard but I don't think his tries were that impressive.

Also NMS >>>> Goosen.
Jane should have started ahead of him in the place of the injured Nehe.

It's so obvious that the Blues are missing a quality five-eighth.

Beaudy was the linchpin. Everything good on attack ran through him and he doesn't shirk on D

Over 1m people surely there could be one very good 10
With the Naki now part of the Chiefs, no team aside from the Crusaders start a 10 from inside their franchise borders. Clearly the Blues need to poach better.

Blues are definitely better ,
Listening to them trying to put the daggers into tana today on radio sport was unfair I thought ,
I can see progress even if it isn't reflected in the wins .

@Billy-Tell Goosen is shit, but I'll be ropeable if J. Savea is gifted an AB place again this year.

Yep, unfair to judge them really until seasons end when they have had thier shot at some foreign teams, as @gunner said above, they are easily a top 8 team, but have to play the 4 top 5 teams home and away....
