Jonathan Faauli (Chiefs) has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle.
-
Similar in height of tackle but it wasn't late, and it was on a player who handled the ball. Luatua just smoked TNW with a high shot off the ball.

@Stargazer Luatua level, so should be more than 4 weeks suspension.
I haven't seen the official text of the citing, so not sure about what the entry-level will be. If it's Luatua level offending - as you say - then it will be a mid-entry point of 6 weeks. If he shows early remorse, combined with his clean record (the same reasons used for deducting two weeks in Luatua's case), then it would be 4 weeks. Just like Luatua. There may, however, in Faauli's case be different/more reasons for deduction (like his relative inexperience - 4 SR caps). We'll know tomorrow.

Sonny Bill Williams return from injury on the horizon
Sonny Bill Williams is set to return to Super Rugby in the coming weeks as he nears a full recovery from the achilles injury he suffered at the Olympics in August last year.
Speaking to Veitchy on Sport, Blues coach Tana Umaga suggested the 33-test All Black could take to the field as early as this weekend, when the Blues face off against the Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.
Sam Cane and Nepo Laulala left the field with concussion in the Chiefs 28-12 win over the Bulls in Hamilton.
Both players are in doubt to travel to South Africa with their teammates after they both failed concussion tests last night, with Laulala not returning to the field after halftime, while Cane lasted just three minutes before being replaced.

I wonder if Bryn Gatland will be brought in cos I think Perofeta is also injured.
At least he played well for the A team on the weekend.
They would need to put another need a 3rd guy with the squad too just in case there's another injury.
Who the hell would that be?? When the Crusaders had injuries at 10 they had Gatland training with their squad.. -
@KiwiMurph Oh, did he? Against the Chiefs U20s, Otumaka Mausia played at 10 for the Blues U20s. Against the Canes U20s, it was indeed Wiseguy Faiane.
Gatland played first-five for the Blues Dev team against both the Chiefs Dev team and the Canes Dev team.
