That thing with him wanting to fly back and forward to spend time with his kids could be difficult to manage long term .
Would not be surprised to see him look for a club in Sydney eventually.

@kiwiinmelb he genuinely was, and i thought the change in the wrestle interpretations would suit him, but alas...
Has any player got better at the Warriors than when he arrived?
Downtown Lewis Brown.

He was in the reserves at the storm , so he probably would be the winner

Paul Kent reckons Matulino is on his way out of the warriors. That would be an astoundingly poor piece of roster management.
And according to reports, my theory that Shane Flanagan is conducting an experiment to see how many grubs you can fit in to one club, the Sharks might look to offer Josh Reynolds a deal when the Bulldogs let him go.
-
@mariner4life Wow, that definitely would be poor roster management - get rid of the one talented forward with a bit of a difference to his game.

But we may get Aaron Woods in return.....
A lot of Warriors off contract at the end of the season: https://www.zerotackle.com/rugby-league/players/off-contract-2017/

I know things aren't great at the Tigers these days, but after orchestrating getting rid of the coach at the Tigers why would Woods want to jump into the Warriors fire?

Just saw this awful news for the Kimmorley family on Facebook. Sometimes the world is a cruel place:
Greenberg, whose family is close to the Kimmorleys, said the league community would stand by the much-loved halfback and his young family.
“The game has the ability to wrap its arms around Brett and his daughters and support them not just today or tomorrow but for a long period ahead,” he said.
“Brett knows that. He knows the game has its arms around to help as best we can.” -
@Donsteppa That is awful. Just saw on Twitter yesterday people talking about the BBC documentary that Rio Ferdinand did about being a single dad to his three kids after his wife died of cancer. Called Being Mum and Dad, apparently really heartwrenching stuff.
Always horrible when someone dies well before time. And fuck cancer.

Yep, it's one of those moments when you wonder how this happens - when the likes of Kim Jong-un and his ilk still safely walk the planet somehow.

I may hate the Bulldogs, but I also have a soft spot for watching the Broncos; Wayne Bennetts dour game plan; and their deluded supporters lose.
-
@Sneakdefreak Woods kinda strikes me as a guy who would enjoy our apparent lack of professionalism rather than bring more, to the detriment of his game. That would be a risky signing (as good a player as he is).
I don't like the guy, but i reckon James Graham is the player the Warriors need.
So, Wayne Bennett reckons last night is Jordan Kahu's fault, not his mind-numbing game plan that doesn't have a lot of points in it if the other team or the conditions don't allow 2 2nd-man plays out to Boyd trying to catch a winger on the overlap. Last night when chasing the game the Broncos were doing one-up hit ups for nearly all 5 tackles. No clue how to play off-the-cuff.
-
Despite the usual fuck ups , the attack has a better structure to it with Foran there
-
The game didn't have my full attention but from what I saw Shaun Johnson looked to be running at the line more than he has been.
Foran looked good. The Warriors haven't come back from 10 points down to win since.... since a bloody long time ago (that's a guess), so still a very much amazed.
I'll reserve judgment on if Foran is the saviour until there is more of a sample base to judge on. I'm still doubtful.
-
Foran gives teams another threat to worry about. Foran was helping to stretch out the line and that created more openings for SJ, Luke and RTS. Was good to see Foran having a crack himself as well. Hammy seemed fine!
