And Irelamd promptly give away an offside penalty from the kick off.
Great kick from new Italian 10.
Italy 3-10 Ireland.
-
Italy living on the offside line with their rush defence.
-
Penalty advantage for Ireland on attack.
Brilliant cut out pass from Zebo out to Stander on the wing who barges over.
Jackson boomerangs his conversion kick over.
Italy 3-14 Ireland at 20 mins.
-
Ryan making a big difference in the Irish lineout and Scannell having a great debut with his throws.
-
Ireland with most of the possession.
Irish scrum just over halfway sees ball go out backline to the right then switches to left with Zebo darting and weaving his way upfield. The Corkman is on fire today.
Phases continue and out the backline again as the overlap emerges with Earls taking it again to go over in the corner.
Jackson with the kick from the sideline. Straight through the middle.
Italy 3-21 Ireland at 27 mins.
-
Italy with scrum 10m inside Irish half. Ireland pile on pressure but it collapses and Italy win pen for not rolling away.
McLean kicks for Italy lineout in 22. Throw gathered and maul forms. Italy win pen for collapsing by Ireland. Kick for lineout on 5m line. Parisee gathers and maul forward. Ireland struggle and then Glen Jackson ref goes under posts for penalty try. Donncha Ryan carded for 10 mins.

Ireland exit easily from the kick off. Italian lineout on halfway.
Balls goes out Italian backline and they make yards. A number of phases and Italy work their way upfield then a wasted kick through and it goes over deadball line.
Italy look to attack again. Ireland comfortable enough to defend. And eventually Italy give away a penalty at the breakdown inside Irish 22.
Lineout on halfway as last play before the break. Ball goes nowhere. Whistle goes.
Ireland looking comfortable.
-
Italy are just terrible. Pure muck.
Ireland taking full advantage but you just have to put an asterix beside any of the performances because of the non-quality of the opposition.

@Pot-Hale CJ stander pretty impressive today and Gilroy a nice little cameo
-
That's was a gorgeous try from Wales. Set piece magic.
-
What a game!
England's bench is seriously good, and made the difference again. Wales with a dreadful clearing kick, England spread it wide, Cuthbert grasping at air, and Daly in for the winning try.
Scotland at Twickenham or Ireland in Dublin lads...

Wales lose.
Another jammy win for England playing rubbish.
Not boding well for the Lions.
Fair play to them, they win stupid and ugly playing poorly, but they do win. In the end, that's what matters.
ps: I don't think this English side is a patch on the other sides that got the streak records
also - haven't we been told that the 'real' record is held by Cyprus? Guess this counts the same

Boding fantastic. England are going to roll into Lions camp thinking they deserve the full XV - even though their performances like tonight have been iffy at best, Ireland will be banging on about Chicago thinking they deserve the same. Gatland needs to have some degree of loyalty to his charges... going to make for fantastic politics which will only hurt them on the field.

Great match. Brilliant intensity from both sides but sheesh England need to tighten up their game. Lucky two weeks in a row.
Not much else to say other than Eddie Butler can get fucked. What a piston wristed gibbon, he i so biased in his delivery, praises a Welshman just for wearing his jersey the right way round.
Twat.

For those who didn't see it
And I really feel for Cuthbert. Should never have been put in a position to determine the result - both by selection and a shit, shit kick from Davies.
Great vision from Ford though.
