Watched 'Just go with it' with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.<br />
<br />
As a Sandler fan I was happier to watch this than the usual Rom/com, all in all, had quite a few laughs in this movie, have been forced to sit through alot worse ones in the name of love <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
<br />
<br />
Agree. One of Sandler's more watchable flicks and one the missus liked. Some funny bits but overall 6.5/10. -
Little Fockers; I liked it, plenty of silly laughs, some good cameos from Harvey Keitel and Jessica Alba, along with Owen Wilsons character.

I watched Source Code over the weekend and loved it. It's no special effects extravaganza, just a really interesting sci-fi story. Jake Gyllenhall stars as a US military helicopter pilot involved in an operation to figure out who bombed a train bound for Chicago. The sci-fi part is that he has to review the last 8-minutes of memory of one of the dead passengers to figure out who did it. It starts off seeimg like a bizarre version of Groundhog Day but it really is unique and worth seeing. 8.5/10.
Thor (3D) - thought this was pretty cool and I'd recommend it to watch. Not sure if it's the best 3D effects, seemed a bit average on that front but was a decent movie.
<br />
<br />
Yea, i thought it was cool as well. Nothing serious, just a good comic book movie. And i loved the 3D because it wasn't over done, more used to build depth in the picture, which has way more effect than shit flying at you every 3 seconds. <br />
<br />
This Avengers movie they are setting up had better be fucking cool. -
also a Captain America one coming, they may as well just get the Seal that did the kill shot for the lead...<img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Apparently the Avengers movie they've signed up Captain America - Chris Evans, Robert Downey as Iron Man, Samual L Jackson, the guy who plays Thor. But it will be a new Hulk by the sounds of it. Inside word is that Edward Norton was a pain in the ass to deal with, so he's getting replaced.
-
Watched No Strings Attached, one of the new kinds of Rom-coms trying to attract the males of the world with smutty jokes, not to mention seeing Natalie Portman in next to no clothes helps too, if you dont like then, then Sneak will punch you in the throat!

New Hulk is Mark Ruffalo. Scarlett Johanssen will reprise her role as Black Widow. Jeremy Renner will be Hawkeye. -
Watched I AM NUMBER 4 and actually enjoyed it, aside from a minor part played by Timothy Oliphant and a dude who often plays baddies, was a no name cast. Is room for a sequel, but I think it is not worth making it.

Damn right, and kick you in the nuts when you are withering on the ground. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /><br />
<br />
Have to get my Natalie Portman fix with this movie and Thor - word is she is going to retire from movies which would be a disaster for mankind in general.<br />
<br />
On to some films I have seen....<br />
<br />
Catch 22 - Read the book and have always wanted to watch the film, Jon Voight is great as Milo Minderbinder though I was disappointed with Bob Newhart as Major Major. Good film overall. 7/10<br />
<br />
The King of Kong - Use to have an old Donkey Kong arcade machine at the shops down the road when I was a kid so this was a great nostalgic watch for me. Dunno how much of this doco is real and how much is "reality tv" (especially with the dorky villain guy) but you do find yourself cheering on the underdog dork as he battles for respect with all the other dorks. 8.5/10 -
First clip from the movie that I'm most looking forward to this year, Drive.<br />
<br />
-
Kill The Irishman - based on the true story of Danny Greene, who was involved in the Cleveland Mafia in the 70's. Pretty good film, obviously unsure how close the facts are to reality, but still worth a watch. <br />
<br />
Probably the best film Val Kilmer has been a part of for many a year too! -
I watched Water for Elephants at the weekend. Heavily promoted previews for Mothers Day but only about 8 people there. Boring predictable romantic - drama? <br />
<br />
The elephant does do some neat tricks though.<br />
<br />
The leading man is the dude from Twilight apparently. The chimps show more charisma and the railway carriages a greater range of acting skills. -
Drive Angry - TSF fave, Nick Cage, Amber Heard (hot) William Fitchner<br />
<br />
Odd movie title, and you have to watch carefully to work it out...anywhoo, Action-cult/satanistic kinda film, Cage's daughter was sucked into a cult and was 'sacrificed' while he was in prison, he dies, but escapes from hell to avenge his daughter, and kidnapped grand daughter from the cult leader in time to stop them sacrificing her too, all the while also evading one of Lucifers 'accountants' (played excellently by William Fitchner) charged with re-capturing him.<br />
<br />
I actually thought it was alright, a couple of moments almost ruined it... -
Uh-oh...<br />

<br />
Now playing at Cannes?<br />
<br />
If this is real, I'll make popcorn and watch . . . -
Yup someone saw an easy way to take money off a grieving embittered old man.<br />
<br />
Money that should rightfully have been spent strengthening the Fulham squad.<br />
<br />
Mohammed thinks it supports his theory that the Director came to him, he didn't commission the movie.
