@MN5 Best xmas song that isn't a xmas song would be that one by the pogues and the chick that got killed by collision with a speedboat
Karma for releasing such a horrific song.....Why do people always go on about how 'musical' the Irish are????
It's all the fucken same and has been for hundreds of years....
"Oh, I'll just play yer a little ditty on me fiddle boi de oirish rovers....have yer heard dis one?"
Fuck off Pogues and other shit bands from the emerald isle....

Trading Places is gold but OHMSS is a little random. Is it a Scottish thing?

It's Bond and Xmas. It's got everything a movie goer could want.

@Snowy Well, don't say porn, for starters. Erotic romance.
I'm not sure I understand your 'if she's writing about it, she won't be doing it.' line. Quality control, man. Research. It's a critical thing. Also, writing and reading the really good stuff puts you right in the mood.

Can't fault that logic!
Wife always watches Love Actually (which is about 65% shit 33% ok, 2% decent pair of tits) and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
The boys watch Home Alone. Problem is they've found Youtube videos proving that in real life Kevin would have killed or seriously maimed the thieves. Damn Youtube.

Love actually is actually really good for that type of movie to be fair.
Less said about Home alone the better.

I expect at some point over the next day or so, I'll be channel surfing and come upon Shawshank, and regardless of it being half way through or 30 mins to go, I'll watch it.

I concur. It has aged well. "Merry Christmas you filthy animals!"

Got it.
"Darling this woman that I know from the internet suggested that you write erotic romance and suggested that you do some research as it might put you in the mood. Oh and the oysters are over there".
Celibate again.
Actually better off leaving things alone I think, and 3 times a day isn't too bad.

Absolutely wrong. I never enjoyed Kevin's antics one bit. The fact the crooks didn't execute his scrawny ass was about the saddest thing i'd ever seen on screen until Schindlers list came along in 94

It's not a bad movie, it's just rather overrated.
If anything it's pretty unknown.
Anchorman and anything starring Adam Sandler are overrated.
Agreed . Funny people was not bad though and I haven't seen punch drunk live.
