Merry Christmas

What's everyone cooking?
I'm hugely over-catering, but that's because I don't want to cook for ages.
Beef rubbed in peppercorns and mustard; two ducks done in orange, nutmeg, rosemary, and thyme; and a pork belly cooked with thyme and cider. Duck fat kipfler potatoes, and a couple of salads. Beauty.
Other halfs bro is caretaker at a nearby posh school and lives on site. So have full run of the canteen, me and him doing the cooking for about 25, with one of my best mates family crashing from the states. Got a couple of legs of lamb I'm going to attempt with bay leaf branches and thyme, plus the rest of the typical English fare, turkey, gammon, I'm going to try and take care of the world's biggest batch of roast spuds too. Just for fun I got my mate a box of lion brown to wind back the years. Can't wait!
Merry Christmas e hoa!

I had to look up GFY. There are several meanings. Given it's Christmas I assume you're meaning "God Forgives You"...
I echo all thoughts of peace on earth and goodwill to fellow ferners.
I pray you all avoid hangovers, food poisoning, family fueds, and crowded public places (especially in Melbourne).
Can't compete with Mariner ... but hope you all once again enjoy this rather picturesque Welsh bird singing my favourite Christmas Carol.
Outstanding....on mute. Unless it's 'Last Christmas' by Wham I really don't like Xmas music.

Tis the season bros
Merry Christmas you fools. Have a great few days. I hope it is full of too much. Too much food, too much piss, and too many presents.
I'll see you all here for the Boxing Day cricket.
She's cute. I think we would have fun together.
Wait, what?!?
Starts searching Amazon for your books.....

@Virgil Thanks Virg. So Nicola Davidson (to continue with the shameless advertising).
By the look of it I wouldn't be allowed to read that, although Mokey is an excellent marketer by posting on here with you lot of reprobates.
@canefan. Kirsty MacColl. She did some pretty fun pop music. Lyrics were great. "Not in these shoes" springs to mind. Also mentioned in the hated songs thread with the pogues (so each to there own).

@Snowy That is why Kindles were invented, dearest. So everyone can read smut without a cover.
I'm not that old that I should be called "dearest" surely...must be my fern persona. A bit depressing that thought.
Anyway you keep writing the porn and I will give it to the wife to judge before I check it out. She writes too so it probably won't end well for anyone.
