@bluedex mate, the same old crap happens when it comes to the AB's touring up north. Generally the fans are fine but more and more your press are just complete bell ends (and ours) before and after every game. Really we should just play our games on tour with 10 men as we are bound to committed 5 red cards offenses during each game so why start the game with these players and why not let your press chose who should be left out. It grates after awhile.
Haha. Look, we all know what the press are like. The NZ press is exactly the same and has the same perception in the NH. Why do you even pay attention to it and get so wound up? That's what I think is hilarious.
OK. I'm sure you won't be surprised when you get a world of shit from the press (NZ) during the Lions tour, we will then be painted as horrible hosts. But Yeah.
No, not in the slightest, it always happens. Hopefully we don't start throwing our toys out the pram though!
BTW the Lions is way, way, behind the NH national teams in level of interest and support. A lot of rugby fans aren't that bothered about them at all. -
@Billy-Tell No I'm Canadian living in Ireland. Can I ask where you've seen all this "whining", apart from the few BS articles that all rugby followers here wouldn't even read?

@bluedex I was just on Planet Rugby....yeah, still not convinced by your bs.
Planet Rugby...haha...is that the best you can do? Everyone knows that's a vipers nest full of total BS spouted by a small group of idiots.
Hmm how concerned am I that you're not convinced?? LolHere's 166 pages of whinging from an Irish forum...Enjoy.

?Can you find a rugby forum please, or a blog from rugby supporters? Boards.ie is not one and the majority of people posting on it wouldn't have a clue about the game, as it's a minority sport in Ireland, as in Canada.
The one thing I am seeing though is that your taking a small group of loons posting BS on social media (some of it a wind-up) and then applying their views to the general population. I have heard nothing about the game all week and I work in a building with a 1000 people. -

@bluedex there is now whinging about the whinging about the whinging...
If we can get to the 4th tier of whingeing I'll be happy

Seriously though, why do you even care?? You did win the game right? What's the big issue with some idiot journo writing something that's less than complimentary about your team? I actually don't understand it.
For example, Stephen Jones is always writing derogatory stuff about the Irish team, but everyone here just laughs at him!edit: I had to check whether I'd used "your" or "you're" in there. Thankfully not.

@bluedex You haven't heard anything at your workplace so that must obviously mean that we are wrong. Great logic. Out of the 1000, just how many did you speak to? And since rugby is a minority sport in Ireland as you just stated, it's quite likely that the majority of your work colleagues didn't even watch the game. I think my link provides much stronger evidence than your sample size of 1000 of which a vast majority are probably non rugby fans.

You're talking out your ass my friend. You're on the other side of the world maybe? I'm here. There's very little bitching. Get over it.

@akan004 Haha, look I know you're looking for something to be offended about and the thought that the nasty Irish people said something bad about a NZ player must be appealing, but... It's just not happening buddy, sorry!
I'm pretty sure you're an Irish troll. No need to lie about your nationality over here.
