Re: 16 in a row ...
Hi All
I was a bit late in updating the Raeburn Shield website this week as I was on holiday but she is all up to date.
Anyone who wants to keep up to date with the Raeburn Shield just like the facebook page as I pop up a piece after each match so it's a nice easy way to keep a lazy eye on it.

And as a taster of what goes up to notify you of upcoming games this is the one for this weekend.

I think for the holder yes....interesting concept, but how Scotland got it to win that many games is beyond me, please explain @MN5
A good addition to it might be to say who the team won it off as well for their 'streak'

Ah yes, the old streak of (18) 84-90. What a magnificent time to be a Scots fan. They still sing about those days in the clubrooms while furiously thinking of excuses not to get a round in. Thistles in the pockets was the most popular one of the day back then.

@Davesofthunder pure genius from NZR to organise it so we can get it back almost immediately. Wouldn't be surprised if Ireland lose it straight away though.

They have Canada next weekend so would expect us to get that shot at it in two weeks time.
I'm hoping that maybe an Irish journalist could pick it up during the week to give it some attention.
Gutted the AB'S lost but equally it's good to see the Raeburn Shield get moved about occasionally!

Yip, we are the Mossad of world rugby.

Back in the hands of the All Blacks again.
Wouldn't expect France to be capable of taking it off us next week.
If you haven't liked the facebook page please do so as its the easiest way to increase the audience.

The things you find when you're on Google:
The even less known women's equivalent of the Reaburn Shield would be called the Utrecht Shield. New Zealand won it off England this morning if this list is correct:
