I think limited tickets went on sale for season ticket holders and Club affiliates or something?

Although I thought they were being released in stages like the RWC and the test ballots were not out yet?

    Sorry, been offline.

Got it through season ticket passes. If you had an Eden Park pass for this year and resubscribe, you get tickets thrown in.

Presales are ONLY for the non-test match games

Yeah I just renewed my membership

I believe the Balcony Bar membership is already sold out. North Lounge membership would get new members the Lions tickets (2*Test & Blues) as well as all the other rugby and cricket

I believe normal ground membership just gets you priority purchase for the Lions

He's playing to his audience. He's way overstating the booing thing. I was at the game and I heard the odd person boo when he got the ball, but that's just it, I could actually hear individuals booing, it wasn't a crowd-wide thing at all. Maybe 1000 people out of 45,000 tops. Every population has idiots, can't do much to stop them being idiots at the end of the day.

His comments in the "anoyone can coach the All Blacks" article are pretty reasonable, apart from the "anyone can coach the All Blacks" part, which is probably just a bit of jealousy on his part as I'm sure there's nothing he'd want more then to be coach of the ABs.

@No-Quarter yeah it was sections of the crowd, hardly anyone up our end booed, so I expect little pockets and then a few around did it to feel cool.

Maybe thats why he said 'anyone' cos he can be 'anyone'

The best way to stop the booing at this point is just to completely ignore it. Stop giving them attention and let the rabble get bored of it. Shining yet another spotlight on it and shit stirring like Gatland's doing is just going to encourage them.

@taniwharugby Also good to know that when the coaching job comes up for grabs again Gats will do it for free. I mean if there's no skill or effort attached to it he wouldn't expect the NZRU to pay him, right?

Of course John Key would be looking for something else by then and you know how he loves a beer in a changing room. So that's a second hat in the ring right there..

And Rattue knows fark all, so he could do it too. The possibilities are endless.

Hell, I'll coach them. Should be easy to align tours with book signing events. Done.

I wouldn't bother booing Cooper any more, but I couldn't care less if other people want to.

He tried the Glenn McGrath tactic of attacking the opposition's leader and trying to take him down. It's backfired badly on him and he's periodically cracked under the pressure.

He went to the kitchen without sending his thermometer ahead - a cardinal mistake! 🙂

@taniwharugby They would learn many wondrous things. But God help them if they lost, or brought the aura into disrepute. Coach Mokes has done more research about medieval crime and punishment than is probably healthy.

This is the guy that didn't want to move from Waikato to coach the Highlanders because he didn't want to uproot his family and instead took the Wales coaching job?

Speights isn't great but Brains bitter is quite possibly the worst beer I've ever tried. The man is mad.

@MN5 he's an embarrassment to himself, the game, NZ and the apes he descended from. Even Woodward didn't start trolling this far out from the 2005 series.

Imagine him tweeting some of his most asinine quotes when people actually gave a shit what he thought? "I could easily achieve in soccer or cricket what I've achieved in rugby" which he said before they had actually won the rwc. To be fair 76-0 is a score you'd usually associate with cricket.

The bit that is glossed over there is -

"..have won 92 per cent of games in the Steve Hansen era. "

"Anyone in New Zealand could coach the All Blacks and you would be guaranteed an 85 per cent win record"

So he wasn't saying anyone could do what Hansen has done, he was saying anyone could do what, say Henry or Mitchell did (85% & 82%), and given the toys thrown by most kiwis in 2007 & 2003 I think most of us feel we could have coached the ABs to WC failure. Or equally you'd have to be fucking usless to hit 67% with the AB resources coughlauriemains. I can buy that.

Same deal re the embaressed bit, he points out a section of the crowd booed & that kiwis are awesome because they are humble when winning & he was a bit embaressed to have been there with non-kiwi friends & be let down by segments of the crowd around him. The booing came across loud & clear on telly too. If it was 2% of the crowd they must have had fucking megaphones. We toss shit at the arogant Aussies regularly on here - especially in cricket.

If the headline was "Gats saddened by section of crowd being assholes when he was there with non-kiwi mates explaining why NZ is an awesome place to tour" it would have been just as accurate, but less click-baity
