    Also hasn't lost a match in charge of NZM I believe.

    No one, I mean NO ONE on the fern will bust out a stat quicker than Bones. Even in the early hours of the morning UK time. Julian Savea did text me to see if I saw his tries, I said yep ( had to catch a replay though ) and I was sorry I said his form was slipping a bit. ( we cleared up the whole comparing him to Rokocoko thing, he said no worries but not to do it again )

    @Bones So his Maoris have beaten Canada, Japan, US and Fiji which is not that sterling. He was an assistent when the Crusaders won in 2002 otherwise as head coach of the Canes he was runner up once and semi finalist three times. He coached the NZ under 21 to a title in 2001. I suppose this is OK but would not say remarkable. I think his lack of success with the Canes sticks in my memory.

    Have a coffee before the gym and re-read it. It gets better the more you hear it.

    Oh right so success is only measured in trophies? That must suck.

    @Unco If I didn't have high standards I would be a fan of Ian Foster.

    @ACT-Crusader I blame Deans!

    @broughie That Foster fella seems to be doing alright for the ABs right now, granted he is part of a great team, but if he wasnt contributing, I dont think he'd be there.

    @taniwharugby I think he is carrying the water bottles and on field messages. Geez he had a good run at Waikato.

    @broughie that was a few years back, again, he seems to be doing alright now, which is likely a stepping stone to the ultimate goal of head coach I expect...and I know plenty on here had misgivigns about Hansen under SGH, look at him now.

    Thats just my view though.

    He took them to a final and a semi final in his two seasons with them, that's not too bad

    Under Henry he was known as Steve "FGH, Fat controller, lazy, what does he actually do" Hansen...

    The RWC winning All Blacks attack coach? Yeah, what a loser that guy is.

    All antipodean said was that he's a good coach and you even doubted that! I'd go so far as to say he's a very good coach, maybe even excellent.

    Rob Thompson (Canterbury) is the player who will be added to the Māori All Blacks squad as a replacement for Declan O'Donnell.
