Why not ? They will have a cohesion the Springboks won't have due to the many changes in the team. But the Springboks' firepower should easily prevail in the end IMO.

Looking forward to see Willie and Libbok factor to put AE and Moodie in space on attack. SMZ from the bench is also great.. Expect much more attack from the Bokke.

The fuck? Surely intentionally doing that is a penalty?

SA purposefully ran in front of the kicker at kick off and only kicked it like 2m straight to the guy in front, to force a scrum.

Wiese goes full Wiese. Red card for a headbutt.

Prolly about time Rassie and his boys got their comeuppance for their antics, but can't see Italy taking advantage.

I thought there was nothing in that - just touched his forehead with the Italian player. Totally deserved Red for stupidity in today's reffing environment, though.

And the Italian on the sideline in acres of space, knocking it on spectacularly from a fine pass, illustrates why.

Prexactly. There's zero reason to do it, doing it either shows you've lost your head or you're trying to aggravate others to. Fuck it off.

Would've been red a year or two ago, but will be mitigated to yellow for the change in direction.

A 14 man Sth Africa with loads of new players are making the Italian A team look a bit silly.

Hate to think what they'd do to the French team currently in NZ.

I heard the Saffa commentators talking about 4 debutants.

Strikes me SA are years ahead of us player-pool/development wise

By playing 4 debutants against what appears to be a weakened Italy?

I can't tell if you're taking the piss or angling on a foster defence.

    Norris, Holland, Kirifi, Tavatavanawai....

    @Bones

Thinking more about how much better SA are at developing players.

    And playing for 80 minutes...

EDIT: The Barrett Conglomerate make up for stupid cards though.....
