2025 British & Irish Lions tour to Australia

Just read that Wales is the only country of the four to have a player involved in every Lions Test match
That record could be gone in a couple of weeks if Jac Morgan doesn’t play out of his skin this Wednesday and any other matches prior to the 1st Test

David Havili, Shannon Frizell, Shaun Stevenson and Folau Fakatava all confirmed to be playing for the AUNZ Invitational XV against the Lions
Interesting. I'd heard that no one from outside Super Rugby was going to get selected.

@Dan54 is that insider info, or just going off the various outlets that reported he couldn't play because he had a broken hand?
No insider info mate, just what I read about them trying to sort out insurance etc.

Taniela Tupou released by Wallabies to be available for the Waratahs fixture. An opportunity to find some form instead of sitting out the Fiji warm up?

Someone in the media needs to put disrespect on Laumape’s name a few days out from that match just to get him fired up.

I think professionalism is making the Lions better and better.
The old disadvantage for the home nations of the Lions having to bring players together is being eroded by the fact they are full time professionals. They mix at club level. They are used to moving between systems, and now thie talent levels are coming to the fore.

@mariner4life which is why I agree with Qu7ade's chatgpt column in The Australian that players in the Wallaby squad should be released to play for their State.
That knowledge and experience would be invaluable come the actual Tests - a double benefit.
