A Fish called Wanda
It probably says a lot about the state of Movies on Neon that this jumped out and I immediately felt the need to watch it for the first time in years.
Still a classic, some top notch performances, Kevin Kline absolutely kills it. I don't think I've ever seen a character quite like him in a movie. Obviously you need to leave logic at the door as to how that quartet would meet up and plan a robbery but there you go.
Really fun watch, not sure animal rights activists would be too happy but it was a different time.

@Kiwiwomble Have there been any successful video game adaptation movies? Genuinely asking.
First couple of Resident Evils were good. The rest shit.
Silent Hill was good
Last of Us is outstanding although it’s a TV show……
That’s probably it
Fall Out TV show was also very good
Sonic the Hedgehog are pretty fun watches.....i enjoyed the Tomb Raider and Uncharted movies but dont think they were commercially successful
...not many no
The Angelina Jolie Tomb Raiders were pretty successful, although they did unleash Gerard Butler on the world which may annoy some, but I thought the less successful Alicia Vikander one was better.

Tombstone
- Starting to watch it - while stoned - as I'm sure Doc Holliday would want
- Don't expect much rational review... I'm already getting paranoid that I'm rambling.
- And that I'm using that word wrong. Fuck I'm a lightweight when it comes to weed.
20 minutesmidway in - I remember why this was so 'good'...- It's a fucking cartoon. A live-action cartoon of the Wild West.
- The Iceman chewing up scenery like laudanum pellets.
- Everybody else being as cheesy as hell.
- 75% of the way in - I'm calling it early - a glorious ham-fisted cartoon-ish western... for your enjoyment sir.
- So much fun.
- Thank you Val.
Oh - titwatch of zero. Harrumph.

Snatch still stands up very well. Hilarious.
I still say ‘put the kettle on Errol’ when I visit a mate for coffee
But his name is Errol

About to watch Top Secret - blazed.
Must admit - I was never really a fan of that Leslie-Nielsen-type stuff. Verbal slapstick. Ugh.
But - willing to give it another shot for Nick Rivers' sake.- First observation - can't handle weed, already doing internet searches to confirm I've got the right word
- Second - lamest joke had me laugh out loud. Stamp of "Find him and kill him". This is going to be a fucking long watch. Do not legalise.
- Okay - I don't mind surf-skeeting
- And I don't mind breast-holes in the sand
- "The Daily Oppressor" - fuck... is stoned how all you people who always find this funny - constantly live/think?
-- by which I mean: didn't mind it - I'm fucking concerned with how much I'm laughing at each stupid gag. I've been intending to watch Blazing Saddles while... well... blazed - but it might be dangerous to my health.
- crushed car bit is SO dumb. And I smiled throughout.
- This is ALL so fucking dumb, and I love it.
-- Except "he's just a little hoarse" - fuck that. Too far.

What the hell ?
As I said in the RIP thread Top Secret is perhaps the most underrated comedy of all time and Val kills it.
