    https://www.stuff.co.nz/world-news/360625188/sydney-socialites-alleged-drunken-destruction-ends-police-cell

    Worth sharing for a few reasons.......

    The photo cracks me up, she is DEFINITELY giving the cops the "do you know who I am?" spiel.

    She crashed into several parked cars, "including a Tesla" how is the Tesla more relevant than the others ?

    How does one become a "socialite?" be a rich, well photographed, snobby arsehole or is there more to it ?

    I assume her defence will be that she was aiming for the Tesla but accidentally hit the cars not owned by twats because she was drunk.

    I thought Reece had become a Sydney socialite for a minute there.

    @MN5

    Jacobs Fennell was waving away enraged diners who had rushed into the street to try to pull her out of the car.

    Diners at The Grumpy Baker.

    Love how they changed the framing too. When they thought it was a Republican at fault it was 'mocking wheelchair user' now that its a Democrat she's just calling him 'hot wheels'..kinda sounds like a compliment.

    Stuff will always be complete dogshit for news

    umm

    "Texas congresswoman Jasmine Crockett mocked her state’s governor during a weekend appearance, referring to Greg Abbott — who uses a wheelchair — as “governor Hot Wheels”

    It's literally the fifth word in the article.

    Classic Stuff, and appropriate for the thread title. Behind a paywall (or at least a 'register' wall).

    Also, they strongly argued this was an 'advertisement' not an article, so the BSA shouldn't have jurisdiction.

    Someone should have probably proofread this a bit better and realised the tagline isn't particularly appropriate in this case
