Adding to the above. The big movers this week were Phil who gained two spots to move into 4th, @Carter B who went from 10th to 6th, @bobily who went from 20th to 11th, myself (thankfully) who was able to move from 17th to 5th (Thanks Beauden) and @boozeathletic who went from 14th to 9th.
Congrats to @Mikey_Woa, @Bones who have also entered the top 20.
Worst pick of the week was Isaia Walker-Leawere who scored -1 points. He probably deserved more for smiling like a dick when he walked off the park after being yellow carded.

Roigard is so far ahead of the other halfbacks in this scoring format that he still gets top score for the week off the bench.
The Fiji game was a nice reminder to check forecasts....

Oosh, 23rd upto 3rd in the competitive TSF league...might be time to retire before the round ends.

Not a bad shift from you in the last 24 hours.

@taniwharugby I'm stunned that you picked Ikitau as captain then he scored three tries!

@HugeCarrot2 last minute decision 🍀

I saw how well he was playing and wondered who I'd swapped him for. I fucking still have him!
Forgot to change my captain though 🤦

Enjoy double captain Reece and Jordan only to sit down after dinner and see ALB out and my team taking a zero argh...
-
@HugeCarrot2 I left Godfrey as my captain by mistake. Also being shafted by Lam back to the wing, if Taele is carving up then...

Week 5 update:
@RacingCarrot makes the shift up to top spot after scoring 899 points this week. A great time to use two boosters tripling up with Reece and selecting Jordan as your second captain.
@BerhamporeNinja dropped down from 1st to 4th, with @bobily managing to rise from 11th to 5th this week scoring 812 points.
I don't think many had Macca Springer in their team but he would have been the best selection of the week scoring 5 tries for the Crusaders. Infact if you had all three Crusader outside backs this week, you would be doing very well.
The most up to date top 20 is below.

this is a stupid game
-
@Canes4life game seems far too geared towards backs.
Think the scoring needs to add a bit more weight to tackles, tackle assists, rucks etc.
Harry WIlson is the highest scoring Forward in 9th on 210, 91 behind leader Reece.
In the top 20 there are 4 forwards: Wilson (9th) Tizzano (12th on 206) Riccitelli (15th on 190 points) and then Deverey (20th on 170)

Agreed, Kirifi's performance on the weekend deserved a lot more than what he got from a points perspective. I also feel like Aussie players, especially loosies and props tend to pick up a lot more points so not sure how it's all tracked.

Feels like a bit too much luck involved with picking players that score loads of tries, especially in the forwards (I.E. if you happen to pick a forward that scores a try or two, you are in the money, even if other forwards had much better games). Agree with the above, forward play is massively under valued and that is where people that actually understand rugby can do well as it takes a bit more nous to identify a forward doing all the sh*t work to get their team over the line.
-
I also really hope they introduce player value going up and down next season, as managing a budget and picking the cheap players that you think will score well is half the fun.
-
@No-Quarter I think an easy way to deal with it would be limit x number of trades per week, but if you have a player on a Bye, it is a 'free' trade, and also have a bench, so if a starting player drops out, one of your bench is automatically promoted to have a full contingent of 15 players earning points.
All other fantasy games I have played involve the fluctuating values.

Not as many obvious standouts this week. I'm avoiding getting too involved in the Crusaders/Blues or Waratahs/Brumbies games, mostly looking to Chiefs, a few from Force vs Drua and a few in the Highlanders/Reds. At least weather doesn't seem a factor anywhere. Just went with Mckenzie as captain, seems the safest option this week.
