Crusaders looking a bit flat. Also can't kick any goals.

Referee had a shocker in awarding a PK when a guy turned around and deliberately threw the ball into someone stand 2 metres directly behind the ruck. Ref needed to shrug his shoulders and allow that to continue in my opinion.

That's going to make this game memorable for me. Don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Good to know Bonesetta is a SR level goalkicker though.

Is there even any wind to contend with?

Reece scores a try after halftime but can he actually pick the ball up from that position? Feet in front of the ball, not part of the ruck 🤔

Fuck I wish Nisbo would stop saying "Finds Leleawasa" every time Leleawasa picks the bloody ball up from a tackle/breakdown. He's the fucking halfback Nisbo.

If he's part of the ruck he can't play it with his hands anyway can he?

THAT! That right there is one of the things that irks me with Jordan. Great kick chase, gets to the opposition player as he's catching it....stops and watches him catch it and run off. What what why

Yes but I don't think he was bound.

I didn't see it. Was the ball in-goal already when he played it?
    EDIT
OK I just went back and watched it. I think he's offside with feet in front of the ball but it's always let go.

    Nah out near the 22.

I'm trying to remember the law about picking the ball up from the ruck 🤔 if you're bound to the ruck I think you need 1 foot behind the ball, but if you're not bound you need 2 feet behind the ball.

Aside from the result as it sits this has been a fun game to watch - defensive standard about as high as the last round of the 6 Nations though. 😉

I like Burey - a good player who never got the recognition in Sydney playing club here. A bit of time with the Aussie 7s but never a sniff with the Tahs.

A couple of good structured tries from the Saders, but that margin reflects a couple of freakish bounces and bits of individual talent.

Jeremy Williams was right in the post match: some unforced errors and narrow defence

But the force have had two games now where their defence just hasn't been good enough

Really good game from Ennor he made a big difference getting the wingers in to space.
Springer should keep Fihaki out of the 23 after that performance.

More evidence that while not back to their best or a championship-winning outfit this year, that these Crusaders are a decent side and a helluva lot better than last year's mob.

While the Sith being utter shite was lots of fun, it was a one-season phenomenon.
